Maya Hawke was the ultimate modern bride as she strutted down the streets of New York after saying 'I do' to Christian Lee Hutson on 14 February. Fans can't get enough of her beautiful look, which is sparking major comparisons online. Many are likening the Stranger Things actress' bridal moment to one of the most iconic TV weddings of all time – Friends' Phoebe Buffay's wedding to Mike Hannigan.
The wedding appeared in episode 12 of season 10, which aired in 2004, and was rather aptly titled 'The One with Phoebe's Wedding'. In the show, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) marries Mike (Paul Rudd) on the wintery streets of New York, surrounded by their closest pals – Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Joey Tribbiani (Matt Leblanc), Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer).

Maya looked just like Phoebe as she headed from George's Episcopal on Stuyvesant Square in Manhattan, where she wed the American singer-songwriter, to her reception at The Players, a private members' club in Gramercy Park. Fans were quick to react on social media, with one writing: "It's giving Phoebe's wedding vibes," a second agreed: "I was thinking the same thing." A third penned: "This is so Phoebe's wedding on Friends!!! Love it!!!" while a fourth added: "How very New York".

Maya's A-list guest list
Undeniably, the most A-list stars on Maya's guest list were her own parents. The star is the daughter of Hollywood actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, who were married from 1998 to 2005. Having risen to fame in the 1989 drama Dead Poets Society alongside the late Robin Williams, Ethan has gone on to receive five Oscar nominations and star in hugely successful films, including Boyhood from 2014 and 2001's Training Day.
