Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are one of Hollywood's strongest power couples. Having met at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in January 2002, the Indiana Jones actor, 83, and the Ally McBeal star, 61, started dating shortly after and made their public debut as a couple in September 2002 at the 59th Venice Film Festival.
The Star Wars actor got down on one knee on Valentine's Day weekend in 2009, and the pair are set to celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary this June. Ahead of the milestone, we're taking a look at Calista's modest engagement ring – and getting all the details from Jessica Flinn-Allen, a jewellery designer with a degree in metalwork and jewellery and 15-plus years of experience in designing and creating fine jewellery.
What is Calista's engagement ring worth?
Jessica tells us that Calista's timeless engagement ring showcases a stunning oval-cut diamond at its centre, surrounded by a delicate halo of diamonds set on a platinum band.
The shape that Harrison chose for his wife is deeply symbolic, the jewellery designer shares. "Halo engagement rings symbolise eternal love and devotion, connection and protection," Jessica says.
"Harrison Ford's choice of engagement ring for Calista shows a deep love for his partner of almost 25 years, and suits her elegant, demure style. Halo engagement rings continue to be an iconic, timeless style, and are unwavering in their continued popularity."
With an approximately 4.00-5.00ct oval diamond and a further 1.00ct of halo diamonds, Jessica says Calista's engagement ring is valued in the region of $250,000/£185,000.
Calista's ring is a hit for 2026
Though the star's ring is almost 20 years old, she should think twice before swapping it for a new style (as many A-listers do). "Calista's engagement ring hits multiple trending styles for 2026, with oval and elongated cuts being a huge hit amongst newly engaged celebs," Jessica tells us.
"With a revival of vintage-inspired designs, halo engagement rings certainly hit the mark, and colourless diamonds go hand in hand with Pantone's colour of the year, Cloud Dancer."
The timeless quality of Calista's ring certainly symbolises their enduring love story. Previously, Joanna Konstantopoulou, a London-based HCPC-registered practitioner psychologist with over 17 years of professional clinical experience, revealed what she perceived to be the secret to their happy marriage.
Harrison and Calista's enduring love story
"In Hollywood, we often see age-gap relationships because people in that environment don’t choose partners the way most people do. Their lives move quickly, their routines are unpredictable, and they carry pressures most relationships never have to face," she said, reminding us of Harrison and Calista's 22-year age gap.
"Under those conditions, they tend to look for someone who brings qualities they're missing. Sometimes that's the sense of stability and the wider life experience of an older partner. Other times, it’s the adaptability and lighter emotional load of someone younger."
She added: "Fame also changes the rhythm of a relationship. When two people live under constant attention, what matters most is whether they can understand each other’s world and stay connected in it."
Harrison and his love certainly seem to have nailed that, with the Blade Runner 2049 star calling Calista "extraordinary" during the 32nd Annual Actor Awards earlier this month.
