Paris Fury has invited fans into her relationship with heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury on their TV show, At Replica Luxury Handbag With The Furys, sharing an insight into the sacrifices they have both made to make their marriage of 18 years work.

With their daughter Venezuela, 17, set to embark on her own lifelong commitment with her fiancé, boxer Noah Price, Paris and Tyson will likely be passing down their biggest lessons. But will "determined" Venezuela take note?

Paris has made it no secret that she had hoped her daughter would wait a little longer before walking down the aisle, but she maintains she has been a pillar of support ahead of the wedding, noting that their age is not dissimilar to her and Tyson's love story.

"My main goal in life – and I might sound like a 'trad wife' here – is that my seven kids grow up happy and healthy, find partners, and make themselves happy," she told The Sunday Mirror.

Speaking about her future son-in-law, she said: "I did encourage her to wait as long as possible, but she was determined. We're all really happy for her and Noah – they’re a great match and genuinely excited about this next chapter in her life.

"Yes, she’s young, but as we all know, that’s in line with our traditions and values. I was engaged to Tyson at 17, so we’re not far off in age."

'Strict' rules

In contrast to Paris' softer parenting stance, boxer Tyson was described by Venezuela as the "very strict" parent who enforces house rules with his seven kids.

On their show, she explained that her dad doesn’t like her wearing heavy make-up, including long nails and fake eyelashes, or short hemlines. The teenager recalled that Tyson "went mental" after seeing her in a fitted lilac mini dress ahead of a party. "Strict parents raise sneaky kids," she joked on the Netflix show, hinting that she may take a different approach if she becomes a parent in the future.

"When she was growing up Big Tyson used to say she can do what she wants, wear make-up and miniskirts, go anywhere. We're not putting rules on her. Then she turned 12 and all the rules changed. Tyson doesn't like short skirts, lots of make-up or anything, but it's just about him accepting he has a teenage daughter," Paris added.

Living arrangements

Aside from her appearance, Venezuela is expected to stay at home until she's married, so her upcoming nuptials will mark a change in the family's living situation.

"I think she should be 14 or 15 before she starts going to social places. I think her dad thinks 25, 30," Paris remarked on the show, and Venezuela aired her frustrations, stating: "He says I'm not leaving the door til I get married, but how am I supposed to get married if l'm not leaving the door?"

The protective father reiterated on his documentary, Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King: "The boys will take a wife and make their family and the girls will take a husband and make their family. Until they take a husband or wife they won't be leaving the home and I wouldn't want them to."

House proud

Paris admitted she takes on a traditional role at home, ensuring the household is clean and presentable.

"I never sit down for more than five minutes. My fitness watch says I rack up 10 or 12 miles a day just in the house – making beds, washing, cleaning, cooking for 10 people. I am very house-proud," she told The Mirror.

Marriage comes first

The 36-year-old also revealed she took on all parenting responsibilities while Tyson was away on a three-month training camp ahead of his fight against Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk in 2024. This included a ban on contact between the husband and wife, and was one example of many in which the couple have been open about their marriage "sacrifices."

In her 2021 memoir, Love and Fury, Paris said she was left unhappy after they moved to a rented Manchester home in order to be close to Jimmy Egan’s gym, where Tyson trained.

"I can’t say I was massively happy there - it just didn’t feel like home, and I found it hard to settle - but I knew I had to be a good wife and mother and make it work," she penned.

Elsewhere in the book, she confessed that his "punishing schedule" had an impact on their marriage. "Everything was becoming a bit strained, a bit forced. And even though I knew my husband had a job to do, I still felt a little resentful that I was the one stuck in the bungalow, caring for the kids and keeping the place nice.

"I started to feel quite isolated, and became worried we were growing apart - I could really sense the distance widening between us - and I think Tyson felt the same."

Hitting back at critics of Venezuela and Noah's engagement, Paris went on to defend her daughter's decision and left some fleeting marriage advice in the process. "I got married at 18, we’re blissfully happy. Yes, we’ve had our ups and downs, but all relationships have ups and downs. Venezuela knows that, I’ve told her nothing is really smooth sailing but I don’t understand the backlash, I don’t get it."
