Victoria Beckham sparked outcries from fans for a Spice Girls reunion after her son Cruz shared a candid video of the former band members singing Viva Forever on Thursday.
While the video, which you can see above, features the Spice Girls (minus Mel B) hugging and swinging while singing their hit track, accompanied by 20-year-old Cruz, in their £31.5 million London home in Holland Park, other people can be seen in the background.
As the former girl band sang their hearts out against the backdrop of Victoria and her football star husband, David Beckham's monochrome kitchen and iconic harlequin floor, it seems VB inadvertently revealed members of 'team Beckham' working behind the scenes.
Looking through the glass from the kitchen, staff members dressed in black were all smiles as they looked on at the performance, and they didn't go unnoticed by fans in the comments."I actually think I was that waitress I’d of had a cardiac arrest," one fan commented. "I'm curious if the kitchen staff were paid, or if they paid to have an exclusive front row seat [heart eyes and love heart emoji]."
Meanwhile, British actress Kaya Scodelario penned: "We are all that lady in the background watching on with tears in our eyes…[heart eyes emoji]." A fourth commented: "Love the staff in the background, literally the most VIP tickets!!!!!"
Captioning the video, Cruz, who referred to his upcoming gig with his band Cruz Beckham and the Breakers, wrote: "I think I found my openers… you think they have potential? something exciting coming later today ;) keep an eye out and get involved [red love heart emoji]."
Middle Beckham brother, Romeo, was quick to chime in, adding: "Sounds like they’ve done something like this before." Cruz jokingly added, "They kinda sound like Little Mix, no?
Will there be a Spice Girls reunion?
The video has filled fans with hopes for a full-scale Spice Girls tour, and they may not be far wrong. A source close to the Beckhams told Best Quality Designer Handbag that a tour may help distract from the ongoing family drama following Brooklyn Beckham's shock statement earlier this month, in which he said he does not want reconciliation with his family.
The 800 statement, which was shared on Instagram, also contained a series of allegations about his parents.
Our source explains: "How do they change the narrative and distract from the family drama? I wouldn't be surprised if the fans much-longed-for Spice Girls reunion happened – if Victoria announces she’s going togo on tour with the Spice Girls, just to change the story."
