Mirabel Vance has been crowned the Prince Louis of the United States. The four-year-old daughter of Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance stole the show during her family's appearance at the 2026 Winter Olympics over the weekend, drawing comparisons to the UK's lovable Louis.

Journalist and media personality Megyn Kelly reposted a story about Mirabel's cheeky display at the Games in Italy, writing: "We have our own Prince Louie and she's amazing." Another X user reacted to a picture of Mirabel with her arms stretched across her father and grandmother, commenting: "Little Mirabel and boss-baby Prince Louis give the same vibes."

Whether he's dancing or making faces, the Prince and Princess of Wales' seven-year-old son, Louis, is known for stealing the spotlight at royal family engagements.

Mirabel, dressed in a red coat, Polo Ralph Lauren bear shirt and skirt, watched figure skating on February 6 with her parents and two older brothers, Ewan and Vivek. The couple's animated daughter was photographed cheering as she sat with her mom and dad, and hilariously resting on her father.

The following day, Mirabel was out again, supporting Team USA, with her parents at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena for the Women's Preliminary Round Group B match between the USA and Finland, where she was seen adorably snacking on an apple. The vice president and his lookalike little girl Mirabel made another appearance on Sunday at the Men's 5000m speed skating.

Watching the Olympics is a family affair for the Vances. The day before the opening ceremony, the vice president told Team USA members that his wife "is not a sports fan, but every year, I guess every two years, she obsessively makes us watch the Olympics".

Like Louis, Mirabel is the youngest member of her family... though not for long. The vice president and second lady announced last month that they are expecting their fourth child together. In a joint statement, JD and Usha said: "We're very excited to share the news that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy. Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July."

They continued: "During this exciting and hectic time, we are particularly grateful for the military doctors who take excellent care of our family and for the staff members who do so much to ensure that we can serve the country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children."

The Vances' 'normal' upbringing

During an appearance on The Mom View late last year, Usha spoke about balancing motherhood with her current role. The second lady said: "Well, it's been working pretty well actually. One of the really nice things about this role that we're in is that our children can do a lot of things with us, as I'm sure you've seen. It's easier for us to travel with them in certain respects. You know, there's always transportation on Air Force 2 with JD. There's always a car kind of waiting for us on the other end. So, some of the really hard things about logistics with children kind of disappear.

"And similarly, people are really welcoming about having them come with us to do things. So that's been a really good thing.

"At the same time, we don't really want their lives to change in a meaningful way. We don't want them to be very conscious of the differences or really think of themselves as set apart in any way. And so we have intentionally structured their lives to be as boring as possible, if that makes sense."

Usha added: "They go to very normal schools. They wear hand-me-downs. They do chores. They do activities that are not supremely expensive. We prioritize things that we would have done if none of this had happened for them. And I think for the most part they barely notice all of the hullabaloo around them. So that's been really good."
