Lorriane Kelly shared a touching tribute with her social media following after attending the funeral of her late father, John Petrie Kelly.
The 66-year-old ITV presenter shared a photo of the funeral booklet that revealed her father's funeral took place on Friday 6 February at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at noon.
On the front of the booklet, a black and white picture showed the talk show host's late parent in his younger days and revealed that he died earlier this year, on 10 January, at the age of 84. He was born on 8 March 1941.
Alongside the Instagram post, she penned an emotional caption that read: "We said goodbye to my dad on Friday. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate his life.
"It was a simple, heartfelt service where we remembered his love of astronomy, exploration, science and Star Trek. A tough day full of sadness but also good memories."
The star's comment section was flooded with notes of condolences, with one fan saying: "Sending you all the love," with a red love heart and another writing: "I’m so very sorry. I bet you’ve got so many great memories tucked away in your heart".
Good Morning Britain weather woman Laura Tobin commented: "Sending love & life long wonderful memories", while presenter Ranvir Singh wrote: "What a legacy Lorraine".
Mr Kelly passed away after slipping on an icy footpath in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. He was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics were called to attend to him.
The former television repairman is survived by his wife, Anne, 85, his daughter Lorraine, and his son, Graham, 57.

The daytime TV host opened up about her father's health in the past when she explained he had fallen ill during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
Mr Kelly was admitted to hospital for a condition unrelated to the pandemic, and Lorraine shared her heartbreak at not being able to visit him in Scotland due to travel restrictions.
During that time, she said: "It’s really difficult because my mum and dad are up in Scotland and my poor wee dad has just been taken into hospital."
© InstagramShe also shared her fears with her fans after her dad battled a cancer scare. Lorraine revealed: "We went through a few very tough months thinking we were going to lose him. It was just awful - but he was amazing, he rallied.
"This time last year, he was in hospital and got out just before Covid started. He basically has heart failure. He also had a really bad scare and they thought he had lung cancer but it was just a massive, massive infection."
