Carrie Johnson doesn't let a busy day get in the way of looking chic. The 36-year-old wife of Boris Johnson was ever the yummy mummy when she headed into London with her baby girl, Poppy, earlier this week.
Taking to her social media account, the mother-of-four slipped on a pair of striking stripey blue and white jeans, which she paired with a cosy chequered gilet and a red jumper. Completing her on-the-go look, she added an on-trend cherry red triangle scarf and an olive-green woolly hat.
"London bound for some exciting meetings today," Carrie wrote, sharing a stunning photo from her Grade II-listed home in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell. She followed up the post with an adorable photograph of her eight-month-old daughter, Poppy, who was adorably dressed in a teddy bear hood and colourful leggings. "With my favourite business partner [pink love heart emojis].
"While in the British capital, Carrie met with her close friend, enjoying lunch at South African-inspired restaurant Kudu in the heart of Marylebone.
Carrie's sunny start to the year
Carrie's London trip came after she, Boris and their young children, Wilfred, five, Romy, four, and Frank, two, along with baby Poppy, enjoyed a sunny start to the year in the Cayman Islands.
The family of six looked exceptionally at peace, in a string of picturesque photos from their time away, shared on Carrie's Instagram account. "January highlights [sparkle emoji]. We were only in the Cayman Islands for 4 days, but that’s almost my entire January camera roll. Not pictured: 3 weeks of flu/bronchitis,' she wrote in the caption.
One photo saw Carrie sporting a fabulous turquoise swimsuit adorned with white horizontal stripes. The fabulous piece perfectly flattered Carrie, showing off her long sun-kissed legs. In the background was her adorable daughter, Poppy, who looked adorable a little red dress, safe in the shade in her crate. Another adorable snap showed Carrie cradling her little girl against a gorgeous sunset sky. Simply gorgeous!
