Holly Willoughby has made a heartfelt declaration to her rarely-seen husband and longtime Valentine. While the former This Morning presenter, 45, is used to the spotlight after more than a decade on screens across the nation, her husband of 18 years, Dan Baldwin, 51, tends to keep a low profile; however, Holly proved they're just as loved-up as ever with an uber romantic Valentine's Day post this year.
Holly gave a rare glimpse into her marriage with Dan, posting a romantic PDA snap and affectionately calling her husband the "Romeo" to her Juliet. Dan planted a kiss on his wife's cheek as they stood in the courtyard beneath Juliet’s Balcony in Verona, Italy. "I found my Romeo… I love you always," Holly gushed, smiling ecstatically in the photo.
Casa di Giulietta is a popular tourist site in Verona, inspired by William Shakespeare's classic 1597 play, Romeo and Juliet. The balcony, situated in Verona's Old Town, was a 1930s addition to a 13th-century building, which once belonged to the Cappello family. The courtyard is accessible to the general public and has a statue of Juliet Capulet as another ode to Shakespeare's tale.
Inside Holly's 18-year marriage
Holly and her TV producer husband, Dan, tied the knot in August 2007, celebrating their 18th anniversary in 2025. The pair have welcomed three kids together: sons Harry, 16, and Chester, 11, and daughter Belle, 14.
"Support is everything in mine and Dan’s relationship," Holly said in 2020, according to Red Magazine.
"He’s very solid ground; he is where I fall. And he knows when something is wrong – it makes me feel emotional even thinking about it. But of course he has weaknesses; we both do. The key is holding up each other’s strengths and not poking at each other’s weaknesses."
Dan also works in the TV industry and co-founded his own production company, Hungry Bear Media, in 2014.
Family life with 3 kids
Holly keeps her family life relatively out of the spotlight, but in February 2017, she opened up to HELLO! exclusively about her love of being a mum.
"All I ever wanted to do was to be a mum," she said of her young kids at the time, years before they got into their teens. "It wasn’t like when I was at school I thought, 'Oh, I’m going to be this big career girl'. Being a mummy is definitely my most favourite job of all, without a shadow of a doubt."
As for whether they'll follow in her footsteps career-wise, Holly said: "I’ll encourage them to go in whatever direction they want."
"Belle wants to be a rainbow. She's a mix of complete tomboy and real girl. She keeps up with her brothers like you wouldn’t believe but loves dressing up as a princess and thinks, 'Why wear one hairclip when I could wear all the hairclips I own in my hair?' She loves anything multicoloured and with sparkles in it," she said of her daughter, who would have been around five at the time.
Life after This Morning exit
After 14 years co-hosting ITV's This Morning, Holly stepped away from the show in October 2023. More than a year on from her departure, the TV presenter returned to screens last year on the Netflix show, Celebrity Bear Hunt.
"It really helped me, the whole thing," she told HELLO! exclusively in January 2025.
"I really loved it. It came along at the right time. I think it's good to change things up sometimes and it's good to challenge yourself. In the same way that the celebrities will go into this to challenge themselves and see what they were made of, I thought: 'Right, why not?’"
The presenter has had a turbulent few years in her professional and personal life. Holly reportedly sold her family home in London in February 2026 following a foiled kidnap and murder plot in October 2023. Gavin Plumb was charged with plotting to kidnap, rape and murder her, and was handed a life sentence in July 2024. Then in December 2025, Holly pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention after a car accident.
