Brooklyn Beckham appears to have severed relations with his childhood friends Holly and Jack Ramsay. The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham grew up alongside the twin children of Gordon and Tana Ramsay, however, he seems to have cut ties with them after their father weighed in on his family fallout.
Brooklyn, 26, no longer follows Holly or Jack, both also 26, on Instagram. It comes after he failed to attend the former's wedding to Adam Peaty, 31, in the UK in December, which was attended by the rest of his family.
He has also unfollowed their father, Gordon. The TV star, 59, who remains close friends with David, 50, and Victoria, 51, told him to "remember where he came from" after their feud went public following the six-page online statement he shared last month. In it, he insisted that he didn’t want to "reconcile" with his parents after accusing them of trying to "ruin" his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
However, Brooklyn's vendetta only seems to be against certain members of the Ramsay family, who have long been close to the Beckhams - including his siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, who turns 21 this week, and Harper, 14. Interestingly, he still follows Gordon's wife Tana, 51, daughter Tilly, 24, and their young son Oscar, six, on social media.
It comes after Gordon told The Sun last week: "I love him [Brooklyn], his heart is incredible, but it’s hard, isn't it? I think when you're infatuated, you know, love is blind. They say it for that reason, and so, you know, he's desperate to stand on his own two feet. He's desperate to forge his own way.
"And I respect that from Brooklyn, and that's such a good thing to do. But remember where you came from, and honestly, one day you're not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that." The chef was speaking to promote his new Netflix show Being Gordon Ramsay, the premiere of which Victoria attended on Monday night.
Family history
There has been a close bond between the Ramsay and Beckham families since at least the early 2000s when both moved to the US. While Gordon was building his American TV career, David was playing for the LA Galaxy football team.
Since the fallout broke, the Ramsays have put on a public show of support for David and Victoria. Days after Brooklyn's explosive statement, Tana appeared at the Paris celebration following the fashion designer’s ceremony in which she was awarded by the French government. She also attended Cruz's 21st birthday party at the weekend, along with her daughters Holly and Tilly.
A source close to the Beckhams told HELLO! that the ongoing drama with Cruz's elder brother, Brooklyn, "was the elephant in the room." They explained: "It was definitely an emotional night for everyone, but it was more tears of joy and laughter all round. With everything going on the family just wanted to celebrate.
"Of course, it felt like the Brooklyn drama was the elephant in the room. But they were not going to let it get in the way of celebrating Cruz's big night." They added: "It was a really raucous affair, and it seemed like the family wanted to let off steam, and needed to."
The Ramsays have experienced their own fair share of family drama in recent months with Holly’s new in-laws. All but one member of the Peaty family - his sister Bethany - were barred from her nuptials to Olympic swimmer Adam after a series of disagreements in the run-up to their wedding.
