Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan pulled out all the stops this weekend to celebrate their daughter Palma's very first birthday, transforming their lavish Essex mansion into a picture-perfect pastel paradise.
The Heart radio presenter, 39, and the Coronation Street actress, 38, enlisted the expertise of luxury planners Luxe Events And Parties to bring their vision to life for the tot's milestone day.
The proud parents, who welcomed little Palma on 6 March 2025, treated guests to a spectacular afternoon featuring bespoke signature cocktails, live music and plenty of children's entertainment.
A video shared by Luxe Events And Parties, Stretch Tent Productions UK and Luxury Softplay - as well as on the couple's home account - gave fans a glimpse of the celebration's intricate details.
For younger guests, the garden was transformed with a spectacular outdoor teepee, a bouncy castle and a luxurious soft-play area - complete with a ball pit personalised with Palma's name, a sweet nod to the beloved Spanish city of Palma.
A beautiful welcome board greeted guests on arrival, reading: "Welcome to Palma's ONEderful 1st birthday," perfectly matching a stunning cake decorated with the words: "Isn't she lovely, isn't she ONEderful."
In one picture, shared on Instagram, Michelle was seen posing happily with a cocktail in hand while standing alongside bar staff dressed in the party's pink-and-white colour theme. The bespoke drinks menu featured playful names including "P's Party Starter", "Bubbly First Birthday" and "Palma Tini".
Becoming parents
Mark and Michelle welcomed baby Palma last year and announced the news on Instagram. At the time, the new mother-of-one uploaded a black-and-white photo of her daughter, writing in the caption: "Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl [white love heart emoji]. Palma Elizabeth Wright 06.03.25."
Speaking to Olly Murs on his Heart radio show, Mark spoke about the new, unmatched joy of becoming a dad. He said: "It's the biggest achievement of my life, it's all I think about."
He also took time to praise his wife, adding: "Obviously hats go off to my wife, she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world."
"It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through."
Recalling the moment he held baby Palma in his arms for the first time, Mark said: "That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it."
Palma's privacy
Since giving birth to her first child a year ago, Fool Me Once star Michelle has kept her tot's face out of the public eye, but she has delighted fans with photos from her first year by sharing carefully angled snaps with her face shielded, offering insights into their time spent at the couple's £3.5 million Essex pad and on Palma's first holiday. "Work- life- balance," she wrote alongside one post.
