Athina Onassis became one of the world's youngest billionaires aged 18 after she became the sole heir to her mother, Christina Onassis's, fortune, but despite her riches, she chose to live a reclusive lifestyle, making very rare public appearances once in a blue moon.
The French-Greek competitive show jumper and equestrian is the only granddaughter of Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and is now 41 years old, growing more like her mother, who died at 37, by the year.
Adopting a low-key style, she spends her time focused on her equestrian career, often seen dressed down with little to no makeup or hair styling.
When she does step out, she oozes glamour, sporting designer couture gowns made by her fashionable friends, such as Stéphane Rolland.

Growing up, Athina was the only child of Christina, who welcomed her daughter with her husband Thierry Roussel, a French pharmaceutical heir.
She was born on 29 January 1985 and grew up in Lussy-sur-Morges, Switzerland. She was raised by her father and her stepmother, Marianne "Gaby" Landhage, after her mother's death in 1988.
Athina developed her love for horses at a young age and pursued a career in the sport during her early years.

Athina has been most prominently photographed at stables and show jumping events across the globe, dressed in her competition uniform or a variation of post and pre-event casual ensembles.
In her younger years, she was spotted with her brunette locks flying loose, wearing a pair of white jodhpurs, a light blue button-down shirt with a white collar, and knee-high black socks.
On her feet, she had some white and red Nike trainers and she slung a chocolate brown suede oversized bag over her shoulder.

In 2003, Athina joined her now-husband, but fiancé at the time, rider Alvaro Affonso de Net Miranda at an international equestrian event in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil.
For her romantic outing, she sported a navy windbreaker zip-up jacket, a pair of washed blue jeans adn a white top with a criss-cross tie detailing.
She pulled her highlighted hair up into a ponytail and added a pair of pearl earrings to complete her ensemble.

Athina made a rare public appearance with Alvaro and sat next to him at a dinner table, dressed in an incredibly chic cream structured blazer with a turned up collar.
She had dyed her brunette hair a sandy blonde colour and chose to wear it pulled back from her face.
The billionaire heiress accessorised with some drop diamond earrings and showed off her engagement ring on her left hand.

While competing in the Madrid-Longines Champions, Athina wore her team's navy blazer with white accents on the sleeves and around the crest that was sewn onto the jacket's breast pocket.
Her hair was toned down from the bright blonde and tied into a messy ponytail for her event. She wore white traditional jodhpurs and riding boots.

For one of her more public outings, Athina stunned in a plunging coral-red ball gown that pooled around her ankles as she posed for pictures with a friend.
She was attending the Bal D'Ete in Paris in 2025 and glowed in the ruched dress that cinched in at the waist. Her hair was back to her natural brunette colour and was styled to hang loose around her shoulders.

She showed off her black midi-dress at the event, which she attended to support her friend, Stéphane.
