Prime Video's Ice Hockey drama Off Campus has been a smash success since it premiered on 13 May. The college-based series, based on Elle Kennedy's bestselling books of the same name, has charted at number one around the world, became the streamer's third largest debut series ever in just 12 days, and skyrocketed the main stars to seemingly overnight sensations.
Filming for the second season is now officially underway – and there's a highly-anticipated new addition to the cast who will play a major role in the future of the series. Antonio Cipriano endeared himself to fans on-screen as hockey star John Logan, but the actor largely took a backseat in the first season to his teammate Garrett Graham's love story with music major Hannah Wells.
The series has already confirmed it will be switching up the order to focus on Dean and Allie in season two, who are the protagonists of the third book, The Score. While we might have to wait a little bit longer to see Logan's love story take centre stage, his love interest Grace Ivers has already been cast.
Prime delighted fans last month with the news that the series has found its Grace in English actress India Fowler, 22 – and we won't have to wait much longer to see her on-screen. The newcomer will be stepping into the shoes of the beloved book character next season. As fans eagerly await the show's return, here's all you need to know about the actress and where you might know her from.
What has she starred in?
India has been in several TV shows and films, including a popular Netflix movie franchise. The actress was in the 2018 miniseries Safe and played a young version of Zoe Walker, portrayed as an adult by Laura Haddock, in White Lines. Other TV credits include The Nevers, Franklin and The Agency.
She's also tried her hand at the horror genre, appearing in The Strangers: Chapter 1 in 2024 and notably as Lori Granger in the '80s-set slasher, Fear Street: Prom Queen, which followed Netflix's successful Fear Street film trilogy. India starred alongside Barbie actress Ariana Greenblatt, The Summer I Turned Pretty's David Iacono and more upcoming actors.
Off Campus role
India's Off Campus role was announced in a social media video featuring her on a call with Antonio, who was the one to break the news. Speaking about India's casting, Antonio recently teased her upcoming role to People: "Obviously, we have a Grace now, and that's very exciting. So there's going to be a little bit of that [in season 2], and we'll just see how it all plays out."
The actor said India "truly fell right out of the books", and said "it was just like I was talking to Grace."
He continued: "She's going to bring so much to the show. She's going to elevate it, and I'm so excited for Logan and Grace's dynamic."
"It's perfect. She's exactly the person we need for this role," he added.
