In a series of playful images shot by photographer Douglas Friedman, the campaign emphasises Martha's confidence, timeless style and sense of humour. Set against the gilded, old world glamour of New York City’s luxurious St. Regis Hotel, she's captured in a rare and delightful position - being the one who is finally receiving the five-star service she is best known for.
The mother-of-one and grandmother-of-two is attended to by a white-gloved butler who responds to her every wish at the ring of a bell. Whether she’s riding the elevator, ordering room service, or taking selfies, she effortlessly models pieces from the food-inspired Tastes Great collection alongside signature styles from the brand’s All Day Every Day line, proving that even a lifestyle mogul appreciates the versatility of a perfectly cut pair of jeans.
Lela Becker, president and co-founder of the label, says the businesswoman is the ultimate MOTHER muse. "She’s badass, free, no judgement, easygoing,” Becker told WWD. "She’s Mother Martha".
The pairing is a natural fit for Martha, who noted that the collection combines two of her favourite things: good style and delicious treats. She's praised the brand for knowing both impeccable quality and how to have fun.
Personal favourites are a pair of 70-style patch pocket wide-leg jeans made from stretch denim, the Stashed Hustler Roller Sneak, which she paired to perfection with the matching Stashed Picky Jacket.
True to form, to make the launch even sweeter, the collaboration goes beyond just fashion. Martha has provided one of her favourite chocolate chip cookie recipes to accompany the collection, which is available on MOTHER’s digital platform.
