There was no mistaking the chemistry between Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster as they stepped out for the New York premiere of The Sheep Detectives at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

The pair looked completely at ease in each other’s company, sharing affectionate glances, warm embraces and plenty of laughter as they posed for photographers on the red carpet. At one point, Hugh wrapped an arm around Sutton’s waist as she beamed up at him, the duo appearing utterly smitten as cameras flashed.

Hugh cut a sharp figure in a tailored powder-blue suit layered over a matching shirt, keeping things polished yet relaxed. Beside him, Sutton brought a playful dose of glamour in a sleeveless, shimmering gown adorned with iridescent embellishments that caught the light with every movement.

Their body language told its own story, from whispered exchanges to full-on laughter, the pair seemed more focused on each other than the crowd around them. In several moments, Sutton leaned into Hugh as he smiled broadly, clearly enjoying the evening, and her company.

The premiere itself marked a celebratory moment for the new project, with the backdrop featuring whimsical imagery from the film, including its animal-inspired theme. But it was Hugh and Sutton who stole the spotlight, turning a standard red carpet appearance into something far more personal.

Throughout the evening, they appeared inseparable, pausing frequently to share private jokes and affectionate looks that didn’t go unnoticed by onlookers. It’s this natural ease and warmth that had fans buzzing, with many noting how effortlessly the two connected.

The former couple penned: "We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."
