Princess Eugenie has been keeping a low profile amid the increased public scrutiny facing her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and mother, Sarah Ferguson, over renewed links to the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
However, Princess Eugenie, 35, made time for an outing linked to her greatest personal passion earlier this week. The royal, who is the director of Hauser & Wirth gallery in London, made an appearance at Art Basel Qatar, a curated showcase celebrating Qatar's cultural landscape and the arts ecosystem of the Middle East and North African region.

She teamed what has been identified by Royal British Fashion on Instagram as the 'Eva Asymmetric Contrast Trim Top in Black/Ivory' with the matching 'Marie' skirt, which was cinched at the waist and featured elegant pleats.

Most royal ladies, including the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Edinburgh, tend to pair their skirts with stilettos to create an elongated silhouette and to add a refined finishing touch to a look. However, Eugenie seemed to rewrite the royal rulebook as she stepped out in kicks by British footwear brand, Loci.
Her all-white trainers, which are handmade and retail for £150, feature a lace-up front and a rubber sole. Rounding off the princess' outfit was a khaki bomber jacket by Massimo Dutti, as well as mushroom-shaped earrings by Sophie Lis and the 'Madeline 21 Bag' by Mark Cross.
Eugenie and Beatrice's quiet weekend
In keeping with the theme of maintaining a low profile, Eugenie's quiet weekend away with sister Princess Beatrice in January saw her switch up her aesthetic.
She swapped her pristine white trainers and pleated skirt for something a bit more rustic as she enjoyed a countryside break with her girlfriends, including celebrity nutritionist Gabriela Peacock and Fifi Howden, the wife of David Howden, the man responsible for running the Cornbury House Horse Trials in the Cotswolds.

Of the term, Laura Sutcliffe, HELLO!'s Fashion and Beauty News Editor, said at the time of their getaway: "[The moniker] was coined in the 80s and refers to people living in and around Sloane Square, London, around that time.
