We are still in awe of 12-year-old Mia Tindall's elegant appearance at the weekend as she headed to the Grand National at Aintree Racecourse.

Looking the picture of elegance at Ladies' Day, the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall looked fabulous in a charming blue pinstriped suit by Italian brand Elsy.

Identified by Instagram style account, Royal British Fashion, the young royal donned the brand's 'Cotton Chambray' set, and she teamed it with a smart pair of loafers and a delightful fascinator by Camilla Rose Millinery. She also added a laced white blouse with a pie-crust collar, and a gorgeous gold handbag by Aspinal of London.

The bag in question is known as the 'Lottie' clutch bag in a champagne metallic tone. Easily identified by the brand's signature woven leather detail, it's a great accessory to add to the ensemble and gives a pretty edge to the overall outfit.

Zara has used this bag many times, including last year at the Magic Millions event

This bag actually belongs to Zara, and it's one of her favourite finishing accessories;  she has carried it to a variety of functions, including the Magic Millions Event in Australia in 2025.

Zara often recycles her favourite clothes

Buying new for every outing is no longer celebrated; fast fashion has never been less popular due to the huge toll it takes on the environment, and the royal family is a great advocate for this.

Keeping clothes in the family by passing on and sharing is a positive way to look after our planet and reduce waste. Zara sharing her attire with her daughter is a fabulous example of this.

Zara sharing her handbag with her daughter is heartfelt

Jen Graham, a charity shopper who has presented second-hand fashion segments on This Morning, agrees. "When even the royals rewear, relove, and reshare, it sends the strongest message that sustainability is the future of fashion."

Aside from the invaluable sustainability ethos, Zara sharing her handbag is also a heartfelt gesture between mother and daughter that is memorable and evokes a charming connection.

Lena wore sister Mia's Gucci coat in January

Zara also exercised this notion earlier this year, when she and husband Mike took their brood to the New Year's Day Racing Meet at Cheltenham Racecourse on 1 January 2026.

The 44-year-old daughter of Princess Anne and her husband were spotted at the racecourse with their children, Mia, Lena, and Lucas. Little Lena was seen wearing a grey coat by Gucci, which her older sister Mia wore back in 2022.
