Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands is doing things her way. On 17 April, the 22-year-old daughter of King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima stepped out for a two-day official tour of Amsterdam and hinted at how she might use fashion to signal the sense of modernity that she signifies as future queen.
The graduate of the University of Amsterdam stopped to pose for a photo with Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema in Amsterdam before heading off with her around the city to meet residents and representatives from the science, sport, culture, housing and social sectors.
What did Amalia wear during her solo tour?
© Getty ImagesGone were any signs of a formal suit as Amalia donned a slinky bodysuit, as identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram as Max Mara's 'Nigella' style with a wrap top and long sleeves. She styled the bodysuit with navy trousers and heeled boots.
