A wedding is the perfect excuse for a family reunion, even when you're royalty like Peter Phillips! Princess Anne's son, 48, married Harriet Sperling on 6 June 2026, bringing together his children from his first marriage, Savannah and Isla, her teenage daughter, Georgina, and even Peter and Zara Tindall's half-sister, Stephanie Phillips.

After welcoming Peter and Zara with the Princess Royal, to whom he was married from 1973 to 1992, Captain Mark Phillips went on to have a third child, now-28-year-old Stephanie, with his second wife Sandy Pflueger.

Stephanie was pictured heading to All Saints' Church in Kemble wearing a striking red and white dress ahead of Peter and Harriet's royal wedding, and her outfit was seemingly inspired by the royals.

Designed by sustainable, London-based brand Aspiga, the 'Billie' dress featured breathable cotton material with long sleeves, a shirred waist and a tiered maxi skirt, which would look equally elegant styled with sandals on holiday as it did dressed up for a summer wedding.

Accessorising to perfection, Stephanie teamed her frock with a cherry red fascinator from Filipa Cardoso and matching espadrilles from Castañer, identified by Royal Fashion Police.

Copying the tried and tested royal outfit formula, Stephanie's whole look wouldn't look out of place on the Princess of Wales.

Kate has famously worn the camel version of the espadrilles to the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019 and 2023, as well as during the 2022 royal tour of the Caribbean. Meanwhile, Duchess Sophie attended an afternoon tea event in Windsor in 2025 in a powder-blue broderie dress by Aspiga, featuring a very similar silhouette to Stephanie's wedding guest dress.

Sibling bond

Stephanie's 16-year age gap with Zara and 20-year gap with Peter have not stopped her from developing a close bond with the royals.

Mark's youngest daughter has had a special role at both of her half-siblings' weddings in the past. She acted as a flower girl at Zara's wedding to Mike Tindall in 2011 and Peter's wedding to his first wife, Autumn Kelly, in 2008.

When she wed William Hosier at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Tetbury in 2022, her guest list also brought the family together once again. Zara was pictured in a lace Zimmermann blue mini dress, and Peter Phillips was in a blue suit while their kids Mia, Lena, Savannah and Isla acted as bridesmaids.

It is not unusual for them to cross paths, since Mark continued to live on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate for 21 years following their divorce. He stayed at Aston Farm, a seven-bedroom farmhouse that is now home to Zara, her husband Mike and their three kids.

Meanwhile, Peter also has a home on the 730-acre estate.
