Trooping the Colour is always an event to be remembered, and there's always a plethora of stunning, memorable style moments to be enjoyed.

Princess Charlotte looked as lovely as ever as she sat in a carriage alongside her mother, the Princess of Wales, and her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, and the world got a glimpse of her beautiful new dress.

Charlotte's elegant ensemble was designed in an angelic off-white colour and featured a traditional collar. Royal Fashion account Kate Middleton Styled identified the dress as a bespoke creation by Alessandra Rich. It was finished with appliqué detail and a statement bow at the nape of her neck.

However, if you look closely, the dress is actually etched with a pretty, pastel blue floral print, coordinating perfectly with her mother, the Princess of Wales, who wore a resplendent pastel blue coat dress by Catherine Walker.

Charlotte's brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, also played matchy-matchy, donning coordinating pastel blue ties. What a perfectly presented family! Matching with your children has never been more modern. "Most children love twinning with their parents," baby and kids stylist, Charlotte Kewley, tells Best Quality Designer Handbag .

The talented professional added, "I think it works best when it's just one item matching rather than a full look, complementary pieces rather than identical, or when it’s an item that both parent and child would also wear independently."

Charlotte's timeless look

Charlotte's latest look is as elegant and classic as ever. In a world where children are forced to grow up fast, the royal almost symbolises the magic of childhood, and this is conveyed with her dresses, sweet separates, and hair bows.

The young royal always wears classic attire

"Princess Charlotte has become something of a fashion icon for timeless, heritage-inspired dressing," Charlotte adds. "Her outfits are always beautiful and avoid any obvious trends, but it's the thoughtful details that make her look; the neatly tied hair bow, velvet collars, patent Mary Janes, and the classic wool coat," she notes.

The talented professional, who goes by 'The Little Stylist' on Instagram, added: "At a time when many children aspire to look older than their years, it's refreshing and lovely to see an eleven-year-old girl looking her age! Not overly mature, not too casual. And never dressed in anything synthetic."
