Rose Byrne has wowed fans in the dark comedy If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, and it has left her as a first-time Oscars nominee. The Australian actress was in her home country on the day of the nominations, later sharing that it left her in a "state of shock" but that it "monumental moment" after a long, challenging, and rewarding process.
The movie follows Rose's Linda, a therapist whose life is crashing down around her. "Linda tries to navigate her daughter's mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her own therapist," reads the synopsis.

Rose is in a relationship with fellow actor, Bobby Cannavale, an American star known for various film, stage, and television roles.
