Caroline Catz still regularly appears on our screens thanks to ITV airing repeats of hit sitcom Doc Martin, in which she played Louisa Ellingham, the eventual wife to the titular character.
However, away from the show, Caroline is actually happily married to fellow actor Michael Higgs, with the pair walking down the aisle in 2007, three years after she appeared in the popular show. It was thanks to acting that the pair first crossed paths, with the duo both appearing in The Bill when they first met.
Speaking in 2022 to the Daily Mail about meeting her husband, she reflected: "Michael and I met when we worked together on The Bill in the late 90s, although we didn't marry until 2007, when we already had the children. Marriage to another actor means that there is no explanation needed for what you do. That's pretty refreshing."

Like his wife, Michael is a successful actor, with one of his biggest roles seeing him play iconic EastEnders villain Andy Hunter. Andy's reign of terror over Walford saw him clash with many of the show's regular characters, with the villain getting his comeuppance on the show's 20th anniversary, after he was thrown off a bridge to his death.
Michael has also appeared in the likes of Silent Witness, Casualty, Wizards vs Aliens and Shetland, playing Rob Harding in the latter show's ninth season.
The couple share two children, Sonny, 25, and Honor, 19, and speaking about them in 2015, Caroline said: "As much as I loved my own children's baby stage, I'm very happy with the way things are now that they are older. I'm loving watching them blossom and grow.
"Becoming a mother is like walking through a portal. You see things in a completely different way, and it changes you profoundly – something that no one explains to you beforehand."
She added: "It also adds layers to you as an actor, and you can relate to parts in ways you didn't before. I'd definitely say the roles became more interesting after I had my children."
The couple's children grew up around Doc Martin, to which Caroline shared: "The set is home from home, and it's been such a privilege for them to spend so much time in this beautiful landscape. Sonny was only three when we shot the first series and she's 14 now, about the same age as Martin's daughter Emily. Having spent so many summers together, they're now great friends.
