School Spirits has won over legions of fans since it first premiered in 2023. The show, based on the graphic novel series of the same name, follows Maddie Nears (Peyton List), who finds herself stranded in the afterlife following a mysterious incident, and unable to leave the grounds of the local high school alongside other students.
The synopsis for the show's third season reads: "After having clawed her way back to life, Maddie is haunted by visions and driven by her unfinished business. Meanwhile, her bestie, Simon (Kristian Ventura), is stuck in the purgatorial state that exists in Split River High.
"He becomes obsessed with uncovering the school’s secrets: chiefly, why have so many perished at the campus? And what has Mr. Martin (Josh Zuckerman), the ghosts’ longtime mentor, been hiding? The closer Maddie, Simon, and their pals get to the truth, the more questions they unearth – and the more peril they put themselves in…"
Since returning for its third season last month, fans have been devouring each episode as it drops in a weekly format. Having now been back for six weeks, viewers have been taking in their droves to praise it on social media.
Fans have regularly been saying how "obsessed" they are with the returning show with the only complaint being the show's weekly release schedule instead of dropping the whole season in one go.

One viewer enthused: "I think I've watched the new School Spirits episode like 10 times already!!? Unbelievably good episode and I'm obsessed with Quinn's dance/shroom experience," while a second added: "I watched the entire season of School Spirits in one day, then spent a whole week looking for season 2 which I finished in 2 days, and now every week like an idiot I wait for the new episode of season 3."

Who stars in School Spirits?
The show is led by Peyton List (Cobra Kai), who plays the recently deceased Maddie Nears, whose investigations into her own death leads much of the first season. Other characters include Maddie's best friend, Simon Elroy, who is played by Kristian Ventura (Reboot), and Wally Clark, a fellow spirit and love interest for Maddie, who is played by Milo Manheim (Zombies).
