The BBC's hit detective drama, Beyond Paradise, is returning with its hotly anticipated fourth season later this month and has added a host of famous faces to its guest cast.
The Death in Paradise spin-off stars Kris Marshall as Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman, as he investigates puzzling crimes in Shipton Abbott on the Devonshire coast, having left Saint Marie and the Honoré Police Station behind.
First look photos at season four reveal the drama's new guest stars, including Rachel Cassidy (Downton Abbey), Rina Mahoney (Happy Valley) and Melanie Walters (Gavin & Stacey).
Fans of the drama are undoubtedly counting down the days until the new episodes arrive on our screens following the touching Christmas special, which saw Martha plan a surprise wedding for her and Humphrey.
The feel-good crime caper has quickly amassed a loyal legion of fans since its debut in 2023. A perfect blend of light-hearted humour and emotional depth, the series is loved for its compelling mysteries, charming cast of characters and of course, the epic scenery.

What to expect from Beyond Paradise season four
In the new season, fresh "mysteries and puzzling cases" await Humphrey and the team in Shipton Abbott.
The synopsis continues: "Fact and folklore blur as they investigate the death of a novelist who predicted their demise, a magical night of Dark Morris that soon turns sour, a stolen treasure map that suddenly reappears, and the alleged sighting of a vengeful mermaid lurking out at sea.
"DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and Martha (Sally Bretton) launch into married life as they search for a new home, whilst Humphrey wrestles with an impossible decision that may change the lives of everyone at the station forever."
For those unfamiliar with the show, it centres around Kris' character DI Humphrey Goodman, who was the lead detective in Death in Paradise from seasons three to six. Having left the sun-soaked island of Saint Marie behind, Humphrey pursues a new life in Shipton Abbott, taking a job with the local police force.
Describing the show, Kris previously told HELLO!: "Our crimes are more suited to the surroundings. They are a bit more quirky and a bit more Celtic and pagan and folklore-ish.
"It's a bit more bucolic, as you would expect in the UK - not necessarily people being stabbed in a wonderful, five-star Caribbean hotel," he added.
Who stars in season four?
Kris Marshall reprises his role as DI Humphrey Goodman, alongside Sally Bretton as Martha.
Also returning for the new season are Zahra Ahmadi (DS Esther Williams), Dylan Llewellyn (PC Kelby Hartford), Barbara Flynn (Anne Lloyd) and Felicity Montagu (Margo Martins), Jamie Bamber (Archie Hughes), Melina Sinadinou (Zoe Williams), Eva Feiler (Lucy Thompson) and Phil Daniels (Marvelous Harris).
Meanwhile, a host of famous faces are joining Rachel Cassidy, Rina Mahoney and Melanie Walters in the guest line-up, including Susan George (Straw Dogs), Colin McFarlane (The War Between the Land and the Sea), Michael Cochrane (The Archers), Vincent Franklin (The War Between the Land and the Sea), Alex Macqueen (The Inbetweeners), Tristan Sturrock (Poldark), Andrea Lowe (Sherwood), Emily Stott (Foundation), Susan Penhaligon (A Fine Romance), James Clay (MobLand), Kenneth Collard (Cuckoo), Narinda Samra (Ackley Bridge) and more.
Death in Paradise returns later this month to BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
