While the Oscars is best known for celebrating the finest films and creative talent of the past year, the ceremony is also famous for its unforgettable on-stage moments.
With actors, filmmakers and industry icons gathering from across the world of cinema, the star-studded event often becomes the perfect setting for surprise reunions between former co-stars.
This year's Oscars proved no exception, offering a healthy dose of nostalgia for film fans watching around the world. From a noughties musical throwback to the reunion of a beloved comedy ensemble and a touching tribute involving some of Hollywood's most recognisable stars, here are five standout reunions you may have missed.
Leading the charge were Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, who delighted musical fans when they broke into song in a playful nod to their 2001 film Moulin Rouge!.
Nicole, who played Satine in the Baz Luhrmann classic, began by saying: "I must say, I adored all the films this year."
Ewan, who starred opposite her as Christian, quickly seized the opportunity to turn the moment musical, replying: "Adored? Would you say you loved them? You know, love is like oxygen…"
The pair then launched into a short rendition from the film's famous Elephant Love Medley, singing: "All you need is love! All you need is love! Love is all you need."

Two Avengers assembled once again when Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans took to the stage to present the awards for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Screenplay.
The pair, who first appeared together in The Avengers in 2012, marked the film's 14th anniversary with a playful gift exchange.
Chris revealed he had given Robert a signed copy of the original Avengers script. Robert, however, appeared to have forgotten his present.
Instead, the Iron Man actor sheepishly produced his valet parking ticket. "I didn't really think that through. I'm going to need that back, sorry," he joked.
Moments later, he unveiled another "gift" – what he described as "the official tanning shadeam thong from Magic Mike". From the audience, Channing Tatum, star of Magic Mike, shouted back: "Imma need that back though!"
Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Ellie Kemper
Fans of the 2011 comedy hit Bridesmaids were treated to a special moment when five of its stars reunited on stage.
Among them were Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph, who played best friends in the film. Kristen reflected on the time that had passed since the movie first premiered.
"We are so happy to all be here together tonight," she told the audience. "I cannot believe it's been 15 years now. We are not good with numbers, but we figured it out backstage. That means we shot this movie in 1883."
One of the most emotional moments of the night came during a tribute celebrating the work of the late filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, which brought together stars from some of Rob's most beloved films.
The stage quickly filled with familiar faces from across his filmography, including Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan from When Harry Met Sally, Michael McKean and Christopher Guest from This Is Spinal Tap and Jerry O'Connell, Wil Wheaton and Kiefer Sutherland from Stand by Me.
Also appearing were Fred Savage, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin and Carol Kane from The Princess Bride, alongside Demi Moore and Kevin Pollak from A Few Good Men, Kathy Bates from Misery, Annette Bening from The American President and John Cusack and Daphne Zuniga from The Sure Thing.
While Meryl Streep was sadly absent, her Devil Wears Prada co-star Anne Hathaway was on presenting duties and recreated a moment from the iconic film when she presented alongside former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The 2006 drama, based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger, was famously inspired by her experiences working for the formidable fashion editor.
Leaning into the moment, Anne, who played Miranda Priestley's assistant Emily in the film, asked cautiously: "Anna, just curious, what do you think of my dress tonight?"
Anna paused briefly before responding in perfect deadpan: "And the nominees are…"
Later, when Anne asked her to read out the nominees, Anna simply replied: "Thank you, Emily."
