This twisty two-part crime drama follows Rosie (Hermione Norris), a mother-of-two confronted with a horrifying dilemma when she suspects her son of murdering a local schoolgirl in their quiet Suffolk coastal village.
Nicola plays DC Sue Upton, who is investigating the schoolgirl's death.
The synopsis continues: "Recently remarried, Rosie lives with her two children, Jamie (Alexander Arnold) and Olivia (Ellie Bamber), husband Ben Harley (Martin Clunes), and his children from a previous marriage, Jessica (Antonia Clarke) and Rob (Jake Davies)."

Touching Evil
This gritty 90s crime drama isn't for the faint-hearted. The dark detective series, penned by Shameless creator Paul Abbott, stars Robson Green as a troubled, maverick detective, DI Dave Creegan, who uses unconventional methods to track down serial killers.
Nicola plays DI Susan Taylor, who is paired with DI Creegan on his first day working for the elite Organised & Serial Crime Unit (OSC), a rapid response police unit solving disturbing cases.
Their first case is to investigate the disappearance of three children. The ITVX synopsis continues: "He soon has a suspect - a scientist for a pharmaceutical company - but is there enough evidence?"

Unforgotten
Nicola starred as DCI Cassie Stuart from seasons one to four of this binge-worthy crime series, which has been a staple of ITV's drama line-up since it premiered in 2015.
The series, which also stars Sanjeev Bhaskar as DI Sunny Khan, follows two London detectives as they investigate emotionally-charged cold cases.
Each season focuses on a new investigation, introducing a fresh set of characters all somehow linked to the victim.
Nicola left the show in season four, making room for Sinéad Keenan as the new lead detective, DCI Jessica James.

River
