Tim Allen made a rare public appearance on Friday April 10, 2026, to honor Bonnie Clevering who has worked with the likes Hilary Swank, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Kristen Stewart over her five decades as a hair designer.

Bonnie was named as the 2026 Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling honoree at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, and after a highlight reel of her work, Tim quipped: "Vogue magazine, red carpets… Not one mention of Santa Claus's beard. Gotta be honest, it took me forever to grow that beard! It didn't happen in moments."
© Photo: RexTim grew his own natural beard for his role as Scott Calvin in the Christmas film The Santa Clause, but when Bonnie joined the franchise for the sequel, they worked together to create various looks as the character aged.
Their work together on The Santa Clause 2 also led to Bonnie working, for the first time. with a special effects makeup artist, which saw her expand her skills as she learned how to apply wigs onto prosthetics.
