With 2026 in full swing and the constant juggling of commuting, socialising and trying to regularly exercise, my complexion has made a cry for help. Think blemishes, sensitivity and dryness. So, as someone who is constantly on the move, I’m not only looking for ease when it comes to my skincare routine, but high quality products that actually do what they say on the tin.
With that in mind, I’ve been on the hunt for a straightforward routine that has the minerals to be transformative. I typically steer clear of celebrity beauty lines, but when I found out that pop icon Dua Lipa, 30, had collaborated with renowned stem cell-powered skincare label Augustinus Bader, I felt compelled to try it. In a nutshell, the three-step regime is all about simplicity – exactly what I’m after.
This trio of products is much more affordable than your typical Augustinus Bader products, which are loved by stars such as Victoria Beckham, Margot Robbie and Jennifer Anniston. The difference in the Dua by AB range is that it is geared towards a younger demographic. The ingredients are different, too: multi-tasking powerhouses for less mature and minimally damaged skin.

Having just recently just turned 25-years-old, I put the regime to the test for a week. Here’s how it works…
Step 1: Balance
I only use a cleanser in the evening as my skin can become overly dry, especially in winter. With this in mind I always opt for a cream-based formula that feels both nourishing and purifying. I loved how easily the Balancing Cream Cleanser foamed up into a smooth consistency that left my skin soft and subtly glowing after washing. An added bonus is the prebiotic blend that helps to target blemishes and balance the skin's microbiome. After a few days, I noticed my skin was a lot calmer.
Step 2: Activate
Just like the grey weather at the moment, my skin is looking and feeling dull. As such, following up with the Supercharged Glow Complex has become a surefire way to bring back some radiance, even while the sun isn’t shining. I’m all about immediate results and this product, rich in marine bio-retinol and vitamin B, instantly brought life back into my cells. Formulated to enhance the skin's resilience against pollution and stressors, this is my firm favourite from the trio.
Step 3: Renew
The final step of the regime is the Renewal Cream, a lightweight gel consistency that immediately hydrates the skins without an oily residue. Amino acids promise to balance the skin whilst daisy flower extract reduces the appearance of dark spots. I particularly loved this in the mornings under my makeup, keeping my skin looking fresh and plump even on long days out and about.

This no-faff routine has been a game-changer for my skin. Forget the extra serums and treatments, this straightforward routine and the simple ingredients are all I now need for glowing, healthy skin – with the knowledge that I’m protecting my skin for the future, too. I love how quickly I can complete the three steps and how convenient it is to take it away when travelling.
