Drake, who is married to childhood sweetheart Ann Michael Maye, comes from an athletic family. He was born to his parents, Mark and Aimee Maye, and is the youngest of four. His brothers – Luke, Cole, and Beau – are athletes just like their little brother.
Ahead of the biggest game of Drake's career, let's dive into his support system. Here's everything we know about the quarterback's siblings.
The Maye brothers grew up in Cornelius, North Carolina – a suburb of Charlotte. Luke is the oldest, followed by Cole, Beau, and Drake. Like many siblings, Drake was competitive with his brothers.
"[Having] three older brothers, everything we're doing, we're trying to win," he told ESPN. "I think it's kinda part of who we are and we embrace it, and we love it."
According to Aimee, Drake's oldest brother, Luke, "set the standard" for his siblings growing up. Because of the competitive spirit with his brothers, Drake always tried to prove himself.
"His heart just beat faster than the rest of them because he knew he was really in the game of his life here," Aimee said. "'I've got to fight for my right to play in the pickup game in the driveway or to play football in the backyard.'"
Luke played basketball for the University of North Carolina
Like his little brother, Luke played college sports at the University of North Carolina. He played basketball for the university. In 2017, he was a part of the team's national championship win. During that tournament, he made the game winning shot with just 0.3 seconds left.
After his college career, Luke signed onto the Milwaukee Bucks for their Summer League team and was moved to the G League a few months later. A year later, Luke signed with an Italian basketball team.
Unlike the rest of the family, Drake's second oldest brother, Cole, attended the University of Florida to play baseball. He debuted for the Florida Gators in March 2017. And on the team, Cole won an NCAA baseball title.
Beau, who is two years older than Drake, also played basketball at UNC. Throughout his career, he has overcome nine knee surgeries. Beau's time on the Tarheels was short lived. He walked on the team during the 2022-23 season, but didn't return for the next season.
Luke, Cole, and Beau are all huge fans of their youngest brother. During the 2024 NFL Draft, when Drake was selected in the first round, his brothers were there to support him. At the time, he told CBS: "My oldest brother, Luke, he plays basketball overseas in Japan. He flew back yesterday and made it in for the trip."
The Maye brothers attend many Patriots games, with Cole posting from the field after the team clinched their spot in the AFC Championship Game. Now that Drake is playing in the Super Bowl, it's a given that his brothers will be cheering him on.
Mack Hollins, the New England Patriots wide receiver, arrived at Super Bowl LX barefoot, wearing handcuffs and in a Hannibal Lecter-style mask and red scrubs.
