Katie Piper has shared an inspirational photograph and message with her fans, showing her post-baby body four weeks after welcoming her baby girl Penelope. A day earlier, Katie, 34, had posted a throwback snap of herself with a flat tummy, causing some of her fans to think she had already lost her baby weight. But the TV star quickly set the record straight and showed a snap of her real new-mum body.

Katie explained: "I posted a throwback picture of me yesterday in one of my favourite Floral dresses from @wantthattrend and lots of you commented on what you thought was my post baby body and asked how have I've lost so much weight. I wanted to let you know well I haven’t and it was an old picture!"

She continued: "This is me today, healthy, tired but very happy!! I’m not dieting at the moment as I am breast feeding. We are faced with so many images each day on Instagram some good some bad and I want my page to be a profile that is enjoyed by lots of different people from all walks of life in a positive way. So this is me and has been since I gave birth and probably will be for while- elasticated PJ bottoms in the daytime- keeping Belle happy by wearing her favourite Aladdin ones."
The mum-of-two's followers loved her honest message and photo, with one commenting: "Amazing words from an amazing mother x." A second wrote: "We need more people like you in the world. Well done. Being happy is what makes us gorgeous x." A third posted: "Don't know what I love more about this...Aladdin pjs, baby, or her overall attitude." One fan simply said: "Inspiring."
Katie and her husband Richard Sutton welcomed little Penelope on 13 December. The TV star confirmed the happy news on her Instagram account, along with a photo showing her baby's tiny hand. Katie wrote: "We've been blessed with the safe arrival of a baby girl. Our family is now complete." In an exclusive statement to HELLO! Online, Katie added: "I'm so happy and busy feeding, cuddling - and managing a very enthusiastic Belle!" Katie and Richard are also parents to three-year-old daughter Belle.
