Margot Robbie's famous Hollywood doppelganger Samara Weaving has revealed the pearl of parenting wisdom she received from her closest friends – including the Oscar-nominated Barbie actress. Samara, who also hails from Australia, is getting ready to welcome her first child with her husband Jimmy Warden. Meanwhile, her longtime gal pal Margot became a first-time mum to a baby boy over a year ago.

Samara shared that her local friends have been supporting her throughout her pregnancy journey and have imparted some key advice. "Oh my gosh, all my girls here who are mums have just been so lovely, and I think what they all tell me is just, ‘You do it your way. Whatever makes you feel comfortable," she recalled to People recently at the Clarins Night of Extra in Los Angeles, where both she and Margot live.

She added: "I think our society, there's so many voices and opinions and that it's tough for women, especially when they're pregnant and being a mum. So they're all just so supportive of, whatever I want to do is good."

Margot welcomed her first child with her husband Tom Ackerley in October 2024, and previously described being a mum as "the best". She told Entertainment Tonight in August 2025: "It's funny, you try to explain to someone who has kids, you don’t need to because they get it. And if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear."

Margot's support

While both Margot and Samara were born and raised in Australia, they've been living in California for years and have taken Hollywood by storm. The friends, who often draw comparisons for their similar looks, even starred in the 2022 film Babylon together.

Margot made a surprise appearance to support Samara at a screening of her new film, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, in Los Angeles earlier this month. Margot didn't walk the red carpet, but the resemblance between the actresses was uncanny as they posed for a photo during the event with their blonde locks identically styled in waves.

"I hang out with Margot, and I mean, it's so flattering that people think I look like her. And it's great if it makes people go see the movie," Samara told the Daily Beast in 2019 about her doppelganger ahead of the release of the first Ready or Not film.

Samara's pregnancy

Since subtly announcing her pregnancy in December 2025, Samara has been busy promoting her Ready or Not sequel film alongside her A-list co-stars, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, and rising star Kathryn Newton. While on the film's press tour, Samara has stylishly shown off her baby bump in a collection of glamorous gowns and sheer ensembles.

Her most recent look on Monday night in Los Angeles was a radiant red bodycon dress that hugged her belly. The star posed in the flattering dress with her blonde tresses styled out in glamorous waves at the premiere of her forthcoming film, Over Your Dead Body. She wore a similar form-fitting dress in black at the Clarins Night of Extra on 20 March.

At the Ready or Not sequel premiere in London on 23 March, Samara's co-star Kathryn exclusively opened up to HELLO! about working with the Aussie actress. "Samara Weaving is a gift. She's opened up my heart so much in general and so I wish I was her real sister. I met her real sister the other night in LA and I was like, I wish that was me," she gushed about her co-star.

"It's such a shame she couldn't be here to celebrate this. It's such a big deal to be in a movie, let alone get a sequel. Trust me, every time it gets good and we're laughing and smiling, we're like, 'Where's Sam?'" Kathryn said of Samara's absence at the premiere.
