Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster's model son looked unrecognisable on Wednesday as he appeared in a new set of professional photos, having undergone a hair transformation. Alastair Stewart, 20, was captured by photographer Bartek Szmigulski, having been styled by Adele Cany.

The budding star debuted his longest hair to date; his locks, having been straightened, surpassed his shoulders. His hair, which also looked blonder than ever, was parted down one side and swept over for added star quality. In one photo, Alastair smized while sitting down, and in another, his hair blew in the wind as he styled up a storm in a statement suit a la Harry Styles.

In other photos, Alastair's hair was tied up. This is the look fans will be more familiar with, as the model was previously seen publicly wearing his hair like this. The son of the Loose Women panellist, 55, and 'Maggie May' singer, 81, attended the world premiere of Ocean With David Attenborough at The Royal Festival Hall last May with his hair parted down the middle and tied off his face into a low bun.

Meanwhile, the youngster, who has increasingly made appearances at high-profile events with one or both of his parents, was spotted with mum Penny on day one of Royal Ascot 2025. He hid his locks under a top hat and wore tails alongside his mother, who stunned in an Annabeth Fernley percher hat and a Dolce & Gabbana vintage dress.

Modelling very much runs in his genes, with Penny having risen to fame in the 90s and early 2000s as a model. It was her £200,000 contract with lingerie brand Ultimo, which she signed in 2002, that shot her into the spotlight in the UK.

Of her eldest son's plans, Penny said on Loose Women in 2024: "Alastair is waiting for his A-Level results, but he's been given an offer from the Jimmy Choo London Fashion Academy in London, doing a three-year degree in Fashion Design, Entrepreneurship and Branding. So I'm very proud of him."

However, Alistair later revealed that his life's path had changed course. "I was attending fashion college, but I've left now," he told the Daily Mail at the David Attenborough premiere.

"I'm in a bit of a transitional period at the moment. I'm trying to get into the film industry, and I want to follow my passion. I've made a few short plays, I write a lot of scripts, and I write a lot of screenplays."
