Amanda Owen shared an emotional family update over the Easter weekend as she praised her "indomitable" children for their strong determination and spirit.
Like many families across the nation over the weekend, the Yorkshire shepherdess treated her children to an Easter egg hunt on their farm in Swaledale.
Instructed by handwritten notes penned by Amanda, her three daughters braved the blustering winds of the Yorkshire hills in their quest for chocolate goodies.
The lighthearted hunt was captured by Amanda, who penned a thoughtful caption alongside her documentation of her children's Easter festivities.
Amanda Owen's family update
The caption read: "It can be all too easy to forget what makes this life, place and job so worthwhile and rewarding. When the rain is lashing down, the mud cloying and your body aches from the cold and sheer effort.
"Then, amongst the haste and confusion, for a fleeting moment you look outwards and acknowledge just how blessed you are to be here in this invigorating, inspiring and thoroughly infuriating place.
"I reckon that for the children, it's this place and life that gives them an indomitable spirit and determination that will shape them well for the future, whatever path they choose, they will find their way.
"As long as they are moving forwards and they don't fear looking over the next hill and to the horizon then the sky really is the limit. So go, go, go children, today the prize is chocolate eggs but one day…"
Fans react to the post
Amanda's fans were quick to take to the comments to commend the shepherdess and her ex-husband, Clive, on their parenting of their nine children.
"Just love this so much!" wrote one user. "Your children are an inspiration to us all and both of you have done an incredible job bringing your beautiful children up! I love this life; it's the best life they can live! It's sad now that children are inside on social media! I'm so happy I played outside in the fields! Our great outdoors is the best playground for children xxxx."
A second penned: "Fabulous egg hunt Amandam very rewarding and knowledgeable for the girls to use their intelligence. Well deserved all," while a third added: "Well done, Amanda. Fabulous parenting."
Amanda's post comes after her latest documentation of her youngest daughters, Nancy and Clemmy, helping to deliver a pair of lambs on the farm.
Amanda pays tribute to her son
The mother-of-nine also shared a post about her eldest son, Reuben, who is set to lead his own series, Reuben Owen: Life in The Dales.
"Not long now until my big lad @reubenowen_lifeinthedales new series starts…" she wrote, before explaining that her son and his two friends had restored a classic 1971 BSA motorbike to raise awareness for men's mental health.
She added: "I know that people band about the term 'virtue signalling' but what these lads are trying to do should not be kept low-key. We all have been affected by the issues raised in this post and awareness and open conversation are critical in preventing any more tragic losses.
"The bike will be auctioned at Spicer's in Goole on April 10th, with all proceeds going to Andy's Man Club, which will be filmed as part of an upcoming episode."
