Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz co-chaired the 2026 Met Gala Host Committee, which also featured stars such as Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, Misty Copeland, Paloma Elsesser, LISA, Chloe Malle and Teyana Taylor.

The Met Gala 2026 has finally arrived! The year's biggest night in fashion is set to take place tonight, May 4, at the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Co-chairing alongside Anna Wintour this year are Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams, with Queen Bey making her first return to the event in 10 years.

The celebs so far are leaning into the 'Costume is Art'' theme with figure-hugging ‘fits.
Before the event, curator Andrew Bolton said the theme navigates the concept of the dressed body. "The dressed body is front and centre in every gallery you come across. Even the nude is never naked. It’s always inscribed with cultural values and ideas.”
Stars including Nicole Kidman, Cara Delevingne, Zuri Hall and Ashley Graham to name a few, have opted for silhouettes that sculpt the body.

Léna Mahfouf (also known as Léna Situations) has definitely showcased the most risqué look so far. She opted for a daring sculpted hand-shaped bralette from Burc Akyol, paired with a low-cut ruched maxi skirt.

Brat icon Charli XCX oozed dark glamour in a strapless black gown with a flower adornment by Saint Laurent. Other stars who've leaned into the trend this evening include Cara Delevingne and Claire Foy.

Best accessory of the night so far goes to Gwendoline Christie! Not only did the actress wear an outfit designed by her own husband, which paid homage to artist John Singer Sargent, surrealist photographer Madame Yevonde, and poet Ira Cohen, but she also carried a mask of her own face created by British YBA artist Gillian Wearing. Talk about leaning into a theme.

After a 10-year hiatus, Beyoncé stepped out on the red carpet in the most dramatic custom look by Olivier Rousteing.
The former Balmain creative director and the legendary singer have worked together significantly in the past, most notably for her Renaissance tour of 2023 and her Coachella performance in 2018. We haven't heard much from Olivier since he left Balmain in 2025 after 14 years - could this be a soft launch of something new to come?
