Gregg Wallace is on the move. The former MasterChef presenter, 61, who was removed from the BBC show in July 2025 following an investigation into allegations of misconduct, took to Instagram earlier this week to share the news that he is selling his family home and hopes to travel around Italy for five months.
The broadcaster said he is "trying to organise a life of adventure", while speaking from the back garden of the pad in Kent that he shares with his wife, Anne-Marie Sterpini, 38.
The entrepreneur also revealed that he is choosing to homeschool his six-year-old son, Sid, whom he publicly revealed was diagnosed with autism in 2022.
Gregg continued: "I want to take on that responsibility and, at the same time, trying to build a business with Ruth and Sarah – autism experts for helping families with autistic children. There is a lot going on."
In a separate Instagram Story, he was seen inside his family home with a large living room space behind him, saying: "Big conversations going on now. What would you take? What would you leave behind? Don’t say you’d leave behind all of it."
Why is Gregg Wallace moving?
As per Kent Online, Gregg took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal the reason behind the move. "I can’t have the life I used to have, but whether you choose to believe it or not I really wanted to come out of that anyway. Obviously not in the dramatic way that I did.
"But now, I’ve got some choices, and I’m sure I’m not alone in this," he continued. "I want to ease off a little bit, I want to relax a little bit, but also that comes also with wanting financial security for me and my family, because I’ve got a wife that’s much younger than me and a special needs little boy, Sid.
"So I want to relax a little bit and at the same time make sure that I can have a certain lifestyle and that I leave a legacy for my family."
When did Gregg buy his Kent home?
Gregg purchased his home in the Biddenden area of Kent for £1 million in 2022. At the time, Ideal Replica Luxury Handbag reported that his home, Priory Wood Farmhouse, is a "spacious detached country home [that] boasts five bedrooms, five stables, and five acres of land."
