David and Victoria Beckham are incredibly proud of their four high-achieving children, often talking about them in media interviews. On Tuesday, the 52-year-old fashion designer sat down with mother and businesswoman Emma Grede and, of course, the talk turned to her kids. As well as explaining that she does her best to "protect" her offspring, she also revealed that they all partake in manifesting.
"I always encourage them to dream big then dream even bigger. My kids manifest, my kids have crystals beside their beds," she revealed. Cambridge Dictionary explains exactly what manifesting is. "The act of using methods such as visualization (= picturing something in your mind) and affirmation (= repeating positive phrases) to help you imagine achieving something, in the belief that doing so will make it more likely to happen."
Best-selling author Emma Mumford, the UK’s leading manifestation expert, spoke to Best Quality Designer Handbag last year and explained that there's an important part of manifesting that people often miss, and that's being proactive.
"Manifestation is not just about the universe doing it all and you going 10% of the way. We all know those lottery players who are like, ‘I'm gonna win the lottery’, but they don't even buy a ticket. You've got to be in it to win it - which is literally the lottery's tagline! So putting yourself in the field of opportunity and possibility is important."
Successful Beckham children
It sounds like Victoria's children don't hold back when it comes to proactively reaching their dreams, though. Romeo stepped out at the Met Gala in a full circle moment as he wore Burberry, the brand he made his model debut in. Son Cruz is currently on tour with his band Cruz Beckham and The Breakers. Meanwhile, daughter Harper is proving to be quite the entrepreneur already at the age of 14, as mum Victoria has revealed she has laid out plans for her own skincare line. Victoria's estranged son, Brooklyn has his own hot sauce brand, Cloud23.
Harper's beauty plans
Rumours have been swirling for a while about Harper's future in cosmetics, following in her mum's successful footsteps. In the Emma Grede chat she explained that skincare is something Harper is interested in because of her own acne battles. She divulged: "She used to have beautiful skin, but like all young girls she was enticed by beauty brands and she was putting a lot of product on her face that was not suitable for her skin and consequently ended up going to see a dermatologist because her skin was really, really bad."
