His Majesty King Charles loves spending time at his Gloucestershire home, Highgrove, and the countryside retreat is full of very personal elements, including family photographs. A fresh look inside the royal residence has revealed that the monarch has had a reshuffling of the photo frames, and seemingly, a photograph of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding day has been moved from its prime position.

An Instagram story by royal photographer Chris Jackson, who was at the property to host an event, quickly snapped two of his own images on display in one of the gorgeous rooms. A small wooden table showed an image of Prince Harry shoulder-to-shoulder with his brother Prince William and father King Charles. Another showed King Charles holding his grandson, Prince Louis.

In 2024, influencer Lydia Millen snapped this very spot, but eagle-eyed fans will be able to spot the difference - there used to be an image taken on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2018 wedding day on display.

There's a chance Charles' team has simply chosen to display the wedding image elsewhere, but it's lovely to see the smiling snap of Charles and Louis now proudly on display.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's strained relationship with King Charles

When Meghan Markle was first introduced to the royal family, it was a true fairytale, and King Charles even walked his daughter-in-law down the aisle when her father couldn't make her big day. However, the trio's relations have since fallen apart.

Meghan used to be close to the royals

Prince Harry has had a complex relationship with his father, King Charles, and the pair are estranged at the moment. In 2020, the royal couple made the decision to step back as senior royals after friction within the institution. Since then, Harry's interaction with his father has been limited. Harry's private meeting with his dad in late 2025 and outreach during the King’s health challenges seemed to hint at a reconciliation, but this is yet to come to fruition.
