Peter Phillips said 'I do' to Harriet Sperling on 6 June, and despite the rain, the royal couple had the most spectacular wedding day in the Cotswolds village of Kemble. While it is customary for the bride and groom to jet off on honeymoon shortly after the nuptials, they also have a rather special love nest to return home to.
It is believed that the couple, who started dating in 2024, reside together on Princess Anne's glorious countryside estate, Gatcombe Park, which is located in Gloucestershire. Instead of living in the main house with The Princess Royal and her husband, they reportedly have a cottage on the grounds, affording them privacy.
Inside Peter Phillip's home
While Peter very rarely shares personal information or photos, back in 2020, during a video call, he did reveal his private space. At the time, it featured bold green walls with a painting hung in a mahogany frame on the wall behind him. The camera view also revealed a cream lamp on a table to the side.
Their residence also means they have access to the wider estate, which is a grand total of 730 acres, boasting stunning woodlands and lakes. The site is also home to paddocks and stables, highlighting Princess Anne's love of horses. Another incredible feature they will have access to is the "party barn" in the middle of the estate, a place that Mike Tindall has spoken about before.
Peter's sister, Zara Tindall, also lives on her mother's estate, in a property called Aston Farm. The converted farmhouse underwent a revamp when the couple moved from their previous home in Cheltenham It is a nine-bedroom property with a rustic and modern mix.
Peter and Harriet's wedding day
It was an incredible royal turnout on Saturday for the royal wedding. This was the second marriage for both the bride and groom, and their children from previous relationships were heavily involved in the celebrations. Peter’s daughters, Savannah,15, and Isla,14, and Harriet’s daughter, Georgina,13, all took on central roles in the wedding. Following the church service, guests gathered nearby at Gatcombe Park for the reception and their official photographs were also shot there.
One image of the newlyweds shows them posing in the conservatory of the main house, which is filled with verdant plants. Harriet glowed on her big day, sporting a classic lace dress which was a custom design by Emilia Wickstead. The dress featured full-length lace sleeves contrasted against a high square neckline and a beautifully fitted bodice.
