Princess Kate set to host Rugby reception
The Princess of Wales is set to host a reception at Windsor Castle on Thursday for the England Women’s Rugby team in her role as patron. The Red Roses will join Princess Kate to celebrate their World Cup win in September 2025.
The team will embark on a tour of the Castle, before joining Kate to celebrate their win and show her the Rugby World Cup.
Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa visit Jabal Amman Publishers
Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan visited Jabal Amman Publishers to promote the importance of enriching Arabic content.
In a post shared to Instagram, the Jordanian royals were seen with the team there, and captioned the post: "Enriching Arabic content, especially content aimed at children, is a cultural responsibility towards future generations. Rajwa and I were pleased today to visit Jabal Amman Publishers and learn more about their work in developing Arabic content and technology-driven learning solutions."
The Denmark royals enjoy a snow-covered stroll with their dog
With January temperatures continuing to plumet, King Frederik andQueen Mary of Denmark shared an adorable picture of their boarder collie making the most of the snow in a new Instagram post. The caption read: "Brrrr... A cold and beautiful morning."
The Denmark royals have two famous pooches, Grace an Coco, who often make appearances on social media and were recently part of the family's Christmas tree decorating video.

With Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's move from Royal Lodge on the horizon, a new report has unearthed details surrounding the inspection history of the property, where he's lived since 2004.
According to the Daily Mail, royal loge hasn't undergone an inspection during the 22 years Andrew has lived there, and new photos obtained in October 2025 revealed that the exterior paintwork on the home is crumbling.

Princess Rajwa of Jordan has joined her husband, Prince Hussein, in visiting Jabal Amman Publishers, a leading Jordanian publishing house that is known for its focus on educational content, knowledge publishing, and promoting a reading culture.
For the occasion, the princess rocked a gorgeous plaid skirt, that we could easily imagine the Princess of Wales wearing, with a black high-neck jumper.
Will Meghan Markle join Prince Harry in the UK this summer?
Speculation regarding Meghan Markle's first visit to the United Kingdom in four years is mounting following reports of Prince Harry's upcoming summer itinerary.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, is expected to travel to Birmingham to mark the "one-year-to-go" countdown for the 2027 Invictus Games. The internationally acclaimed tournament for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women is slated for 10–17 July 2027, marking a significant homecoming for the Games, which originated in London in 2014.
Meghan, 44, has a long-standing history of supporting her husband’s passion project. She has previously joined the Duke for "One Year to Go" launches in both Düsseldorf, Germany, and Vancouver-Whistler, Canada. Should the Duchess decide to accompany Harry this summer, it would mark her first appearance on British soil since the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.
King Carl Gustaf leads first conference of 2026
In case you missed it, King Carl Gustaf of Sweden kicked off a conference focusing on defence.
The national conference gathers around 400 participants and over 60 speakers for conversation and debate with a focus on the world's security, Sweden's defense, people's safety, and society's crisis preparedness.
This year's national conference is themed 'Action power and delivery. The King's daughter, Princess Victoria, will also participate during the conference.
What the royal family keep hidden on palace balcony
While royal watchers look forward to Prince William's children stealing the show during balcony appearances, there is a fascinating technical secret hidden behind the red drapery.
It has been revealed to HELLO! that the royal family relies on concealed television monitors to navigate their most famous public moments.
"They are placed in the corners of the balcony, slightly canted. The balustrade is covered in red fabric, so all the equipment can be hidden behind it," an inside source exclusively tells HELLO!.

Queen Mary's 'radical' tiara trick fellow royals have never tried
Queen Mary of Denmark has worn a number of royal tiaras since marrying King Frederik in 2004, but she has one trick up her sleeve for securing the most beautiful tiaras that other royals have yet to try. The Australian-born Danish royal, 53, has not only worn tiaras that have been gifted or lent to her, as the Princess of Wales and other royal ladies have done, but she has acquired her own tiara by purchasing it at auction.
According to The Court Jeweller, the queen's beautiful Edwardian tiara was acquired at auction in 2012, in the form of a convertible necklace that came with matching earrings. Read more here.
Count Nikolai rings in the New Year at his childhood home at Schackenborg Castle
Count Nikolai of Monpezat kicked off the New Year with a visit to his childhood home in Denmark. The 26-year-old royal, who is the son of Prince Joachim of Denmark, spent his early years growing up at Schackenborg Palace before going to school in Copenhagen, living in Paris, and travelling across the world to study at university in Sydney, Australia.
Nikolai extended a "belated happy new year" on Instagram with a collection of photos taken from his recent stay at Schackenborg Castle in Møgeltønder, Southern Jutland. The royal "rang in 2026 at [his] childhood home" with fireworks and celebratory drinks. See the photos here.

Florist behind Prince William and Princess Kate's 2011 wedding to be honoured
Shane Connolly, who was behind the floral arrangements chosen for Prince and Princess of Wales's royal wedding in 2011, will be awarded an MBE for services to sustainable floristry at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle today.
Shane, who transformed Westminster Abbey with six field maples and two hornbeams to reflect Prince William and Kate's love of the English countryside, also took care of the floral arrangements for the then Prince of Wales and the then Duchess of Cornwall's blessing in Windsor in 2005, and their coronation in 2023.

The Duchess of Edinburgh stepped out on a solo outing on Monday as she visited England Hockey at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, where she took part in a training session with the team's goalkeeper, Miriam Pritchard.
