Princess Anne steps out in Gloucestershire
The Princess Royal is out about about in Gloucestershire today. Princess Anne will open the University of Gloucestershire's new City Campus in the heart of the city on Kings Square.
Prince Harry's outing in Santa Barbara
The Duke of Sussex spent time in local Santa Barbara fire stations recently, where he learned about the realities of what goes into an emergency response.
Prince Harry joined John Mills, the co-founder and CEO of Watch Duty, where they learned about brush trucks and rescue ATVs, as well as thermal search-and-rescue drones. Watch Duty is a real-time wildfire tracking and alert platform.
Archewell Philanthropies, the charitable foundation founded by Prince Harry and Meghan, were early supporters of Watch Duty during the LA fires in 2025.

Princess Charlotte's subtle 'steps toward independence'
A child psychologist has broken down Princess Charlotte's subtle body language that shows how the young royal is starting to become more independent.
Charlotte, who will turn 11 in May, would often hold the Princess of Wales's hand during outings together. However, the youngster is starting to drop this behaviour and has been seen recently walking confidently by herself.

Andrew's eviction date

King Harald V of Norway attends Handball European Championship
The King of Norway, Harald V, showed his support for the Norway men's Handball team as he attended the opening match in the European Championship at Unity Arena on Thursday.
The players were undoubtedly delighted to have the monarch in attendance as they claimed victory against Ukraine.
Photos from the match were posted on the official Instagram account for the Norwegian royal family.
The Swedish Royals welcome governors at the castle
Sweden's governors visited The Royal Palace in Stockholm on Thursday, where they were welcomed by the Swedish royal family for a meeting and lunch.
During their visit, the governors each spoke about their county, including what's in store for the coming year.
King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia were present at the meeting, alongside their children, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia.

The Prince of Wales is heading to Bristol later this month. Prince William will carry out engagements in the city on Thursday 22 January, showcasing its trailblazing achievements in sustainability and its role as a driving force for innovation in the UK.
Queen Mary and Queen Margrethe's theatre outing
Queen Mary and her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe, attended the reopening of a historic theatre at Christiansborg Riding ground in Copenhagen on Thursday, where they watched performances based on the theatre's 250-year history and were also given a tour of a new exhibition.

The royal opted for a business-casual look, pairing her chocolate, double-breasted 'Stephanie' blazer from Gabriela Hearst with a pair of 'light brown Alina' trousers from Victoria Beckham.
HELLO! Fashion's Editor, Clare Pennington, broke down Sophie's chic look. She said: "Sophie’s look here is a masterclass in tonal dressing and the power of smart separates. She looks sophisticated and put together yet the mix of rich chocolate and opulent oxblood adds soft warmth."

The Princess of Wales wore a very personal accessory when she welcomed the Red Roses, England's Women's Rugby team, to Windsor Castle on Thursday, in celebration of their victory at the Rugby World Cup back in September.
Her stunning necklace, a gold 'Bali Birthstone Necklace' with a garnet set into it from London-based jeweller Auree, was a gift from her husband, Prince William. The necklace, which features the birthstone for her own month of birth, January, has only been worn publicly by the Princess twice before.

Prince Harry's return to the UK
The Duke of Sussex is expected to give evidence in his High Court claim against the publisher of The Daily Mail next week.
