"They rebuilt their lives, gave back to their new country, and achieved so much. Never would they have imagined that 81 years after liberation, they and their families would be honoured guests at a special event hosted by Their Majesties, The King and Queen, at Buckingham Palace. This remarkable gesture shows just how important these survivors are to Their Majesties, and to this nation."
