Heated Rivalry

And speaking of Kate... looks like there may be a heated rivalry (sorry) this weekend between Kate and her husband, Prince William.

Kate's rugby team of choice is England, of whom she is the patron, while William is patron of the Welsh rugby team - and this weekend sees the two teams go head-to-head in the Six Nations.

Tune into the match at 4:40 pm local time on Saturday...

The royals who lost their place in the line of succession

You may think the royal line of succession is pretty iron-clad, but history shows it can be changeable. Many would say that King Edward VIII, whose 1936 abdication to marry Wallis Simpson changed the monarchy forever.

There have been other cases due to marriage laws; Prince Michael of Kent was removed in 1978 for marrying a Catholic (though he was reinstated in 2015). More recently, Prince Andrew and the Sussexes have seen significant changes to their titles and roles, though they currently remain in the line of succession despite stepping back from duties.
