Queen Mathilde of Belgium wows in a bold leather blazer
On Friday, Queen Mathilde of Belgium was pictured on a royal visit to the Sexual Violence Care Centre in Lodelinsart.
The Queen toured the centre's facilities and met frontline workers supporting victims, including psychologists, nurses, social workers, doctors, and specialist police inspectors.
The royal looked so chic in her red leather blazer, which had wide lapels and a fitted cut. She teamed it with smart black trousers for a seriously-tailored finish.
The royals who lost their place in the line of succession
You may think the royal line of succession is pretty iron-clad, but history shows it can be changeable. Many would say that King Edward VIII, whose 1936 abdication to marry Wallis Simpson changed the monarchy forever.
There have been other cases due to marriage laws; Prince Michael of Kent was removed in 1978 for marrying a Catholic (though he was reinstated in 2015). More recently, Prince Andrew and the Sussexes have seen significant changes to their titles and roles, though they currently remain in the line of succession despite stepping back from duties.
