From future sovereigns to princes and princesses, more royals are eligible than you might expect. While Prince William and Prince Harry have been off the market for years, several members of the British royal family could still be your ticket to marrying in. Cassius Taylor, grandson of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, has been crowned by HELLO! as the most eligible royal, but there are plenty of other royals from around the world still available. Read on for 40 royals who are not betrothed...

Cassius Taylor
AGE: 29
COUNTRY: UK
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 50
Until his interview with Best Quality Designer Handbag , Cassius was considered "the bad boy of the royal family" because he is a DJ who likes going out and has a tattoo of a skeleton. In fact, he is a softly spoken, artistic soul with a fondness for a pint and a beef Wellington. One of his happiest places is Glastonbury and music is a through thread of his life, with one of his earliest memories being his mother Lady Helen Taylor (daughter of Queen Elizabeth’s cousin the Duke of Kent) playing George Harrison’s Faster. He loves white sausage and hash browns in a full English breakfast and reckons that the ideal dinner party gift is a bottle of good extra virgin olive oil.

AGE: 20
COUNTRY: The Netherlands
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 2
Schooled in south Wales at UWC Atlantic (alma mater to Princess Elisabeth of Belgium and Princess Leonor of Spain as well as her own father King Willem-Alexander) and currently studying at University College London, Princess Alexia is something of an Anglophile. The dizzyingly beautiful spare in the Netherlands succession switched her degree to civil engineering in late 2024, a qualification that will give her insight into how her country survives despite a third of it being below sea level. Little is known of her private life beyond her breaking her leg in a skiing accident at the age of ten, but she does speak fluent Spanish alongside English and Dutch and enjoys singing, hockey and playing guitar.

Schooled at Millfield in Somerset, he went on to study in New York and a course on cultural heritage management in Rome. His title is honorary – India abolished princely titles in 1971 – but he has an estimated fortune of more than £500 million and lives in Jaipur’s City Palace. He is rumoured to be in a relationship with the French jewellery designer Claire Deroo but this remains unconfirmed.

AGE: 24
COUNTRY: Greece
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 10
In contrast to her cousin Princess Olympia, Arrietta has kept such a low profile that almost the only known biographical detail is that she was in a synchronised swimming team called the Penguins of Arrecife. So it caused much delight when she stepped briefly into the spotlight as a bridesmaid at her aunt Princess Theodora’s wedding in 2024 wearing a periwinkle satin gown. She was brought up in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands and reportedly studied in Madrid.

AGE: 22
COUNTRY: UK
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 17
Carriage driving medallist, trainee military officer and inheritor of the late Prince Philip's Fell ponies, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor is also the most senior British royal family member aged 20 or over never to have married. The only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh is due to graduate this year from her four-year English degree course at the University of St Andrews.
She was reputedly the late Queen and Philip's favourite grandchild and learnt her carriage driving skills under his tutelage. When he died in 2021, he bequeathed her his dark green four-wheeled carriage and his ponies Balmoral Nevis and Notlaw Storm. She continues his passion for the sport, winning silver at the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials in 2024, where she was joined by her friend Felix da Silva-Clamp, a fellow member of the university’s Officers’ Training Corps.
Her mother once told The Sunday Times that her children were "very likely to have to work for a living" rather than perform royal duties. Louise once described herself in a now-deleted LinkedIn profile as being "interested in pursuing a career in the military, diplomacy or law".

In the unlikely event of Austria and Hungary reuniting their empire and reinstating their monarchy, Ferdinand would be heir apparent, behind his father Karl von Habsburg. The professional racing driver got his taste for speed when he went go-karting at the age of 11. He was on the winning team of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in his debut year in 2021 (in the second most powerful class of cars) and raises money for Mary's Meals, a charity that provides food for schoolchildren in impoverished countries.

AGE: 39
COUNTRY: Thailand
LINE OF SUCCESSION: Unknown
Fashion designer, horsewoman, medal-winning badminton player and major general in the Royal Thai Army, Princess Sirivannavari is a force of nature. She may also inherit the Thai throne, but the succession is opaque and her father has declined to name his preferred choice. She is a regular at Paris Fashion Week shows and in 2024 her House of Sirivannavari brand took part in the official presentation of Milan Fashion Week. She includes personal elements into her designs including one based on her love poem Horse, Helen and Henri, the tale of a wounded young officer brought into the care of a farm girl by his horse. The princess, who has also composed music for the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, is perhaps happiest in the saddle. "I train six days a week," she said in 2018. "I've had injuries. I've broken my leg, I have a screw in my left foot, but I have never given up. I put all my efforts into achieving my goals."

AGE: 27
COUNTRY: UK
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 31
Popularly known as a "royal thirst trap", Arthur is the brawn of the Chatto family. The former page, who once carried the late Queen’s ceremonial robes, built a following of 9,000 admirers on Instagram with the help of numerous shirtless images. He worked as a fitness instructor while studying geography at the University of Edinburgh and rowed around Britain with friends in 2020. The topless pictures stopped the following year, however, when he joined the Royal Marines as an officer cadet – the first member of the royal family to do so since Prince Edward in 1986. He made his Instagram account private and fans have had to console themselves with photos of him in uniform.

Prince Bereng Constantine Seeiso
AGE: 26
COUNTRY: Lesotho
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 3
Judging by the Lesotho royal family's various Instagram feeds, it is the catwalk-strutting and oyster-eating Prince Bereng, 26, who has the most fun. He is third in line to the throne behind his cousin Prince Lerotholi, 18, and his own father Prince Seeiso. Seeiso, 59, is a friend of the Duke of Sussex, having co-founded Sentebale with Prince Harry and resigning alongside him when the charity's chairman fell out with its trustees. In December, Bereng modelled a sequined zip-up jacket and black bow tie at a fashion showcase in South Africa. He began the new year with a gallery of self-portraits and the caption: "Eternal sunshine: brighter days ahead."

AGE: 39
COUNTRY: Monaco
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 12
The eldest granddaughter of the late Princess Grace of Monaco and niece of Prince Albert is best known as a model, Chanel brand ambassador and prize-winning equestrian. As of January, she is also the author of her first solo literary work. What that book is about is beyond the descriptive powers of her publisher, which says that it is "not a treatise, nor a narrative and even less a confession", but it is most likely to be an exploration of her thoughts on philosophy. The mother of two separated from her husband and father of her second child in 2024. "The key to a long and happy relationship," she says, "is when you both share a passion for the truth, for life."

The only royal family member to be named after a Star Wars character, thanks to her mother Princess Märtha Louise's fascination with the film franchise, Leah Isadora has no royal title but is still in the line of succession. The model and beauty influencer, who has 163,000 Instagram followers, made her society debut at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris in 2022 on the arm of an Indian maharaja. She has her own line of cosmetics and last year announced that she would be a competitor on the Norwegian version of The Traitors.

Days before ascending the throne in 2005, Albert publicly acknowledged Alexandre as his son. The dapper, English-accented grandson of Grace Kelly, now based in the US, has graced magazine covers and fronted a campaign for Nahmias. LINE OF SUCCESSION: 28
Bearing the name and looks of her grandmother, the late Princess Margaret, Lady Margarita first caught worldwide attention at the age of eight in an open-topped carriage for the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The jewellery designer grew up close to the royal inner circle, swinging from Prince William’s arms during the annual Christmas walk to church at Sandringham in 2006. She is the custodian of her grandmother’s ruby and diamond engagement ring from her marriage to Antony Armstrong-Jones, wearing it to special occasions such as King Charles's Coronation at Westminster Abbey. "It was the same church that Granny got married in," Margarita said of the event. "I wear it to things I think she would want to be there for."

LINE OF SUCCESSION: 1
Nicknamed Tino, the socialite prince would be heir to the Greek throne if his country hadn’t abolished its monarchy in 1974. Restoration seems a slim hope but Greece did reinstate its monarchy twice, in the 1920s and 1930s. For the time being, the Georgetown University graduate is content to be an artist and model. Tino's privilege became clear at his baptism in London when the godparents gathered around the font comprised Prince William, King Felipe of Spain, King Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. His adulthood is scarcely less gilded: he has previously dated Poppy Delevingne and been linked to the Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline.

AGE: 20

LINE OF SUCCESSION: 1
When her time comes, Princess Leonor will be Spain's first queen regnant in over 100 years. Born on Halloween in 2005, the Princess of Asturias was a pupil of UWC Atlantic in south Wales before undergoing three years of military training across the army, navy, and air and space force. Last month she completed her first solo flight on a turboprop trainer plane. On her 18th birthday, the Princess swore an oath to the Spanish constitution, declaring that she owed herself "to all Spaniards, whom I will serve at all times with respect and loyalty". She added: "There is no greater pride. On this important day – which I will always remember with emotion – I ask you to trust me, as I have placed all my trust in our future, in the future of Spain."

AGE: 31
COUNTRY: Japan
LINE OF SUCCESSION: N/A
At first glance, it is surprising that the most vivacious princess of the Japanese royal household remains unmarried. The former figure skater and high school hip hop dancer studied at three universities, most recently the University of Leeds, and has performed solo state visits for her country. Suitors cannot expect to be welcomed into the family, however. Under Imperial Household Law, princesses lose their royal status when marrying a commoner and, under the same law, all but one branch of the royal family have been designated commoners. Best Quality Designer Handbag 's list will be of no help: foreign princes are considered commoners, too. Kako's older sister Mako, 34, was ejected from the royal dynasty in 2021 for marrying Kei Komuro, 34, a Japanese lawyer.

Achileas-Andreas graduated from New York University in 2023 and made his film debut alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the comedy No Hard Feelings. "Proud of playing a small role (my first film feature!) in something so special," Achileas wrote on Instagram. Acting, he said in 2018, after appearing in The Bold and the Beautiful, has always been "a great passion".

In a photo shoot with ¡Hola! a few years ago, the fifth in line to the Spanish throne posed with a falcon on a gloved hand, held a trio of Rhodesian ridgeback puppies and wore a floral catsuit while standing on the back of a horse. If this was insufficient evidence of her chutzpah, last year she appeared on the El Dasafio (The Challenge) reality TV show where she competed with fellow celebrities in tests of skill and endurance. The most memorable of these involved struggling to block a series of taps as she lay in a glass box that was filling with water. She succeeded. The Lady of Tejada, who prefers to be known as "Vic", was reportedly educated at a boarding school at Sussex before continuing her education in Madrid to study marketing and communications – but her passion is fashion. The bull-fighting enthusiast dreams of marrying and having children but is currently only two months into a relationship with a Spanish basketball-playing nightclub owner. Asked if she had an ideal man in mind, she replied: "Honestly, no. The most important thing for me is that he’s a good person."

Alexander braved sleep deprivation, 40-mile treks and extensive ironing of his uniform to complete officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Now he is following Prince William and Prince Harry to join The Blues and Royals, one of the two regiments that form The Household Cavalry. The son of James and Julia Ogilvy and grandson of Princess Alexandra studied at Brown University in the US, where he dated Michaela Kennedy–Cuomo, granddaughter of the late Robert Kennedy. The relationship did not last and he is now thought to be single.

The piano-playing heir to the Belgian throne is fluent in four languages, is trained to lead a military platoon and has an Antarctic research station named after her. Princess Elisabeth, the first child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, boarded at UWC Atlantic school in south Wales before gaining a degree at Lincoln College, Oxford. It was there that she competed, under the name Elisabeth de Saxe-Coburg, for her college's boat club. She is now studying for a master's in public policy at Harvard. Even with a full-time education, she still undertakes royal engagements on her own, with her helicopter-flying father or other family members. She was rumoured to be dating a fellow Lincoln College student but there has been no confirmation of any romantic relationship.

Crown Prince Christian of Denmark
AGE: 20
COUNTRY: Denmark
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 1
"Today, a boy's dream came true," the heir apparent wrote in October. "I had the opportunity to get on one of the last training flights in an F-16 aircraft." Exciting as it was for him to act as navigator for the flight over the Jutland peninsula, his admirers were similarly agog at photos of him in his flight suit. Christian, who spent his gap year working on two farms in east Africa, passed his basic training last year, trekking 40 miles in three days while carrying a 30kg pack and surviving on quarter rations. Beyond his military exploits, Christian is a keen festivalgoer and was photographed at one in August, kissing his girlfriend Emma Nygaard. On his 18th birthday in 2023, Queen Margrethe, who abdicated less than three months later, offered a poignant reminder of his destiny. "Your path in life is already set," she told him. "For one day you will follow your father, just as he will follow me one day. You become a link in the long historical chain that has bound our country together for centuries."

Princess Salma, younger sister of Crown Prince Hussein, is barred from the line of succession for being a woman, but she is a prized asset of the Jordanian monarchy. Queen Rania's daughter became the nation's first female jet pilot at the age of 19 and flew missions over Gaza to drop medical supplies. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2023 with a degree in archaeology. Earlier this month, she accompanied her mother to the world heritage site Wadi Rum in southern Jordan. The desert, which served as a location for the Dune films and two of the Star Wars franchise, was also a backdrop to a young princess’s burgeoning role.

The male model, who made his first catwalk appearance in 2018 at London Fashion Week for Burberry, said in 2023 that his transformation from prince to mere count was "quite a touchy subject" and that it was "weird having to settle for… another call sign".

AGE: 22
COUNTRY: The Netherlands
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 1
Not all heroes wear capes, but the most eligible princess in the Netherlands does. Catharina-Amalia, first child of King Willem-Alexander and the Argentinian-born Queen Máxima, loves a caped gown almost as much as she adores tiaras. "Show me a tiara and I’ll know where it came from. I used to wear my mother's. There would be one on her make-up table and I would put it straight on my head." The Princess of Orange has seen the dark side of fame, secretly studying for her degree in Madrid while enrolled at the University of Amsterdam because of a kidnapping threat. Regardless, she graduated last year with a degree in politics, psychology, law and economics and is already an inspiration to her countryfolk. Objects to be named after her currently include an offshore wind farm, a pedestrian bridge, a Dutch army regiment, a military transport plane and a dredging vessel.

Prince Emmanuel of Belgium

COUNTRY: Belgium
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 3
Emmanuel's official biography is varied enough: he's a floppy-haired, saxophone-playing, windsurfing nature lover with a penchant for chequered socks. Unofficially, Prince Emmanuel is reportedly one half of Vyntrix, a techno DJ duo responsible for upbeat tracks with names such as Rio, Palace and Free. Vyntrix's Instagram account, which has 13,000 followers, posted images last summer of a blond-haired man with a prominent nose and a leather bracelet consistent with the prince's appearance. Is this the international business management student's secret identity?

AGE: 20
COUNTRY: France
LINE OF SUCCESSION: N/A
Few countries have rejected their monarchies with such aplomb as France and yet French princes and princesses still abound. Princess Isabelle d'Orléans emerged as one of the most eligible last year as she attended Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris on the arm of her brother Prince Constantin, 22, who is ninth in line according to supporters of the Orleanist claim. (Women are excluded from the line of succession.) Isabelle, who studies at the ESCP business school in London, made her high society debut in a pink gown by Antonio Grimaldi.

AGE: 64
COUNTRY: UK
LINE OF SUCCESSION: 26
David Armstrong-Jones isn't the youngest unmarried adult in the British royal family but he is back on eligibility lists after his separation from Serena Armstrong-Jones, Countess of Snowdon, in 2020. He isn’t the oldest, either: Edward, Duke of Kent, 90, was widowed in September and Princess Alexandra, 88, has been a widow since 2004.
The only son of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, he led a dashing lifestyle in his youth that included dating the journalist Susannah Constantine and driving around London in a convertible Aston Martin DB5.
The furniture and interior design entrepreneur has not remarried despite beginning a relationship in 2022 with Isabelle de La Bruyère, a former director at the auctioneer Christie's, where David is an honorary chairman.

The Earl of Snowdon's only son is often overlooked because of his low public profile but he is the highest-ranked bachelor (neither married nor divorced) aged 20 or over in the British line of succession.
Last year, his sister Lady Margarita offered a rare insight into his personal life: "He is very into his orchestral music. He is self-taught and can sing, play the piano and the guitar. Somehow he combines it all together – including online choirs – on his laptop into one piece of music."
The Old Etonian was raised in royal style: baptised at St James's Palace, invited to Christmases at Sandringham and summers at Balmoral. He carried the late Queen’s robes on state occasions in his role as Page of Honour in his early teens but has undertaken no royal duties since.

Sam Chatto's eligibility seemed to be over on Christmas Day 2024 when he took his girlfriend Eleanor Ekserdjian on the royal family's walk to church at Sandringham – an event usually reserved for royal family members and spouses. But, over a year later, there is no sign that the artist, potter and qualified yoga instructor has, in the words of Beyoncé, put a ring on it. Sam, the son of Lady Sarah Chatto and grandson of Princess Margaret, met Eleanor, a fellow artist, at the University of Edinburgh. He matriculated in art history before attending the Royal Drawing School and honing his pottery skills in Japan.

The international shipping student, who had his floppy hair shorn into a buzz cut last year, is close to his older brother Nikolai. The spare in Liechtenstein's royal succession burst from obscurity last year when a photo emerged purporting to show him with his arm around Princess Elisabeth of Belgium. His father's spokesman dismissed it as "a fake created using artificial intelligence". The good news is that Maria Carolina is poised to take over the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies after her father the Duke of Castro abolished male primogeniture in their family. The bad news is that their dynasty, a cadet branch of the Spanish royal family, were deposed as rulers of Sicily and southern Italy in 1861. The influencer, who frequently posts images of herself with her younger sister Maria Chiara, has 190,000 followers on Instagram. Reports this month suggest she is dating the anti-immigration politician Jordan Bardella, 30, president of France's far-right National Rally party, based on footage of her getting into a car with him. Neither has confirmed the rumour.
"I am still waiting for Prince Charming to come and serenade me with a guitar and a red rose," she told Best Quality Designer Handbag in 2024. "The position is still open, and I'm accepting applications."

Prince Louis would be seventh in line to the throne if he hadn’t renounced his claim in 2006, when he married the former soldier Tessy Antony without his father's consent. Their fairytale marriage ended in 2019 and his subsequent engagement to the French lawyer Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue also fizzled out, in 2022, due to "fundamental differences of opinion". Louis currently lives in Paris, has a pilot's licence and is patron of Luxembourg’s Federation of Table Tennis.
