President Donald Trump has claimed Prince Harry no longer "speaks for the UK" after the Duke called for better "American leadership" during an unannounced visit to Ukraine.
Harry made an address at the Kyiv Security Forum to show his support for the country, and said that "the United States has a singular role in this story not only because of its power but because when Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons, America was part of the assurance that Ukraine's sovereignty and borders would be respected".

"Europe has stood up in profound ways. And that support has mattered, and Ukraine knows it. The task now is to match endurance with speed."
Trump was asked about the remarks during a White House briefing, and in response, he quipped: "How's he doing? How's his wife? Please give her my regards."
"I know one thing, Prince Harry is not speaking for the UK, that’s for sure," the President then continued. "I think I am speaking for the UK more than Prince Harry. But I appreciate his advice very much."
Trump has long shown disdain for Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, accusing the Duchess of being disrespectful to the late Queen Elizabeth II, of using Prince Harry for his title, and suggesting he would not deport Harry because he has "enough problems with his wife," and the comments come days before Harry's father, King Charles, will visit Trump to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Russia made a devastating full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. However, the recent conflict in Iran has overshadowed Russia's continued aggression, which has included the forcible deportations of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children to Russia.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour that it was a "big risk" to delay efforts to end the war in Ukraine until the conflict in Iran ends.
