Bikini season is upon us, so whether you'll be sunbathing at home or you have a beach holiday booked, you're probably looking to upgrade your swimwear collection.

There are so many options when it comes to shopping for swimwear, so if you're looking for a new bikini, I've cut through the noise to curate an edit of the most flattering and stylish options to make sure you're as comfortable and confident as possible when poolside.

The enduring popularity of high-waisted bikinis mean they feature highly, while micro bikinis are the latest trend to dominate the swimwear scene, and I've also included full coverage and supportive options, too. Plus, bandeau bikinis are always popular, with the strapless style particularly suited to those with a smaller bust.

Several of these labels are also loved by the A-list. With access to the most coveted brands on offer, I can usually hedge my bets that celebs will be wearing bikinis that are both high quality and super stylish - and who doesn't want to feel amazing when they're sunbathing, swimming or posing for a selfie?

How I chose the best bikinis

  • Trusted brands: I’ve researched top swimwear brands to feature bikinis loved by celebrities and fashion insiders, including the Best Quality Designer Handbag Shopping Team.
  • Inclusivity: The bikinis featured are available in a wide variety of sizes, from XXS-4XL.
  • Sustainability: Where possible I've included brands that use sustainable methods and materials when creating their swimwear.
  • Style: Of course aesthetics are important, and the bikinis featured in my edit come in the most fun, chic, and stylish designs.

The best bikini brands for summer 2026

M&S

Editor's Note:

Marks & Spencer's swimwear collection is so popular thanks to its high quality and affordable price point. They offer a range of designs from simple styles like this black scallop set, to statement printed pieces.

Hunza G

Hunza G bikini

Editor's Note:

Hunza G's iconic swimwear is famed for its textured sculpting seersucker material and one-size-fits-all pieces. The brand debuted in the 80s and has been seen on the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Holly Willoughby and Michelle Keegan

The new Angel bikini features the brand's sleek, sculpted silhouette with the addition of an underband for extra coverage and support.

Away That Day

Editor's Note:

Launched in 2019, Away That Day has quickly become one of the most coveted global bikini brands. With sustainability at the forefront, plus stylish and flattering fits, all finished with luxurious fabric, they're worth the investment.

Their pieces are designed to be mixed and matched, and bestsellers include the Cannes top, which gives a natural lift sans padding, and the Fiji bottoms, offering minimal coverage for that micro look. I love this new Cabo Verde set, which comes with chic gold hardware.

Reiss

Editor's Note:

I love Reiss for classic, timeless pieces, and their swimwear is no exception. If you favour a bandeau style (I personally find them the most flattering and tan line-friendly), the Carina set comes with removable halter straps and supportive side boning.

TRIANGL

Triangl

Editor's Note:

TRIANGL has been one of the world's most popular and recognisable swimwear brands since the iconic Neoprene bikinis launched back in 2014. If you love bold and bright designs in a range of flattering cuts, there are plenty to choose from.

The gorgeous Mala set features adjustable straps and comes in a range of coverage options.

Tropic of C

Tropic of C

Editor's Note:

Those looking to tap intro the micro bikini trend will want to shop at Tropic of C. Founded by supermodel Candice Swanepoel, the swimwear brand was inspired by her South African heritage and her love of the beach.

Worn by the likes of Hailey Bieber, who has been pictured in the Equator top and Praia bottoms, the bikinis mostly feature minimal coverage, with a second skin softness and two-way stretch. The fabric has a matte finish and UV protection.

Sakuranna

Editor's Note:

If you're looking for luxe swimwear, London-based Bali-made Sakuranna creates the most beautiful pieces from their signature soft material, that's double lined for support and comfort.

Available in a stunning frost shade, classic black, or bridal white, the bestselling Alysha bikini comes in a flattering bandeau and high-rise cut, and is elevated with statement gold metal hardware.

SKIMS

Editor's Note:

Since launching swimwear in 2022, SKIMS has sold out every collection thanks to its inclusive sizing and flattering fits. The minimalist bikinis have a lightweight, form-fitting feel and are designed to be mixed and matched.

The Triangle top and Dip-Tie bottoms have been modelled by Kim herself and are classic cuts that look amazing on every figure.

Solid & Striped

Editor's Note:

Swifties, if you want to channel Taylor's swimwear style, head to Solid & Striped. The popular bikini brand has the prettiest pieces, from the Daphne Bikini she was pictured wearing to celebrate 4th July to this new Rowan set. Made from the brand's signature soft mesh fabric, it offers moderate to cheeky coverage.

Kikki-G

Editor's Note:

KiKKi-G is a luxury sustainable brand. Designed in St Barths and ethically made in Portugal using premium, bio-based fabrics, their swimwear collection is as conscious as it is chic.

The new Beatrice bikini comes in an array of colours and is cut with a halterneck, while hidden underwiring ensures great shaping and lift.

Boden

Editor's Note:

Royal-approved Boden has a gorgeous collection of bikinis that also boast comfort and practicality. If you like a good amount of coverage, these classic bikini bottoms are bestsellers, while the matching halterneck top is so chic.

H&M

H&M leopard print bikini

Editor's Note:

H&M bikinis come in premium cuts with very affordable high street price tags. The only problem is getting hold of pieces before they sell out. This leopard print set has just dropped and already has five-star reviews.

Zara

Zara

Editor's Note:

Zara is amazing for stylish swimwear, with one of the best collections on the high street. Affordable, flattering and durable - my favourite is this bikini set with shell appliqué detail. It also features removable cups.
