Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter, Rumer, revealed that she doesn't rely on her parents' staggering income to finance her own life. The 37-year-old clarified that she is the "sole provider" for her two-year-old daughter, Louetta, following comments she received on an Instagram post.
On February 16, Rumer took to Instagram to share an Instagram Reel of herself alongside text that read, "Single Moms Be Like". She then wrote out activities, such as "lunch", "play dates", "meal prepping", and "working out".
However, later that day, Rumer returned to her social media platform to respond to comments that she had received on the Reel. "Just had to clarify since it seems there are quite a few uninformed and rude people in my comments on this post," she penned.

Rumer then responded to another comment that said she has a "back up" with her family if needed. "I want to respond to this with care, because I think there's a misunderstanding about what I was actually saying," she replied. "I am very aware that I have privileges in my life that many people don't, and I don't take that for granted. I know there are realities I will never fully experience, and I respect that. But this particular post wasn't about privilege or comparing circumstances, and it feels like people are assuming I was ignoring that when that wasn't the conversation I was trying to have."

"At the same time, I think we can hold two truths at once," she said. "People's lives look different, and none of our experiences exist in a vacuum. Just like someone with a stable job and housing might still struggle in ways that are real to them, even if their situation is different from someone facing much more severe hardship elsewhere in the world, we all move through different layers of reality. Acknowledging that difference doesn't mean we can't also talk about what we share."
