Meredith Hagner's faith in strangers has been restored.
Over the weekend, the Search Party actress, who is married to Goldie Hawn's youngest son Wyatt Russell, was flying solo with both of their children,
The couple have been married since 2019, and are parents to two sons, Buddy, four, and Boone, one.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Meredith shared a photo of a British Airways captain carrying her youngest son, and explained: "Long story short, it was a tough flight [sic] alone with my kiddos from Colorado to London! When we landed there was a shuttle to take us in the pouring rain to the terminal."
She continued: "I couldn't open the stroller, baby was crying, I was holding up so many people. Not one passenger offered to give me a hand," before revealing: "The literal captain of the plane then said 'She's coming with us,' he waited with us, helped me with my bags and stroller."
"On the crew bus my 5 year old hit his head when the bus [stopped] short and he swiftly grabbed the baby for the whole ride," the story ended.
She then shared a photo of her with both boys outside of the airplane, and added: "He took this photo. Excuse me looking like a human trash can. He was so kind and restored my faith in [the] kindness of strangers. After literally flying the plane."
Later this month, Wyatt is premiering the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on AppleTV, an action series that also stars his dad Kurt Russell.
Last year, Meredith gave insight into what Goldie and Kurt, who have been together for over 40 years, are like as grandparents. Speaking with Us Weekly, she said: "Oh they're the best," adding: "They're just, like, the greatest people, greatest grandparents."
She and her husband have a pretty lucky set-up, as not only are Goldie and Kurt their kids' grandparents, but they're their neighbors too.
"They live down the road from us, so my son is like — that's their second home," she went on, revealing: "They'll have a cookie jar that's always full, and my son knows where it is, and they have a toy box that is always brimming with toys."
And despite their A-List status, the couple are truly mom, "Pa" (as his stepchildren Kate and Oliver Hudson call him), grandma and grandpa at heart. Meredith, recalling when she first met them after starting to date their son in 2016, also shared: "The thing that always struck me about meeting them is just how normal they are, like you forget within five seconds [how famous they are]."
