Emily Ratajkowski has officially hard-launched her new relationship as she went Instagram official with French director Romain Gavras on February 19. The model took to her social media to share a carousel of loved-up pictures to debut her new romance.
The first photo captures the couple sharing a kiss, with Emily turned away from the camera. The 34-year-old wore a figure-hugging, backless black dress and held a wine glass as her partner gently cupped her face and leaned in to kiss her.
Another snap, taken on a digital camera, showed Romain posing in the snowy streets of New York City. The image was paired in a montage with a selfie of Emily, who wore a white headscarf and chic black sunglasses.
© InstagramThe third image in the photo dump captured the pair posing in a restaurant. Emily looked incredible as she posed in a slinky red dress, sticking her tongue out to the camera, while Romain wore a simple black shirt.
Emily and Romain were first spotted together this past November, when they were seen out in New York sharing a kiss. Gavras has directed films such as Athena and Sacrifice, and has also helmed music videos for Jay-Z and M.I.A. In addition to his film work, he has been heavily involved in marketing and fashion, directing campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Powerade.
© InstagramRomain previously dated Dua Lipa, and the former couple even graced the Cannes red carpet together back in 2023. The pair were in a relationship for almost a year and were frequently spotted together at events, such as Paris Fashion Week.
Meanwhile, Emily was previously married to movie producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, and they share a four-year-old son, Sly. Since her divorce, she has been romantically linked to Harry Styles and Pete Davidson.

Last year, Emily opened up to ELLE about her dating life and prioritizing her independence. "I still like men," she shared. " I just have zero straight men in my life, unless they're a romantic interest. In the hierarchy of needs, that's at the top of the pyramid, which is nice. [Men are] pleasure and fun, but not a part of my core. The rest of my life is community with other women and queer people, and being a mom."
Emily also addressed her divorce in a now viral TikTok. "So, it seems that a lot of young ladies are getting divorced before they turn 30," she said. "As someone who got married at 26 [who] has been separated for a little over a year [at] 32, I have to tell you, I don’t think there’s anything better."
"Being in your 20s is the trenches," she added.
