Heidi Klum may have graced countless magazine covers during her decades long modelling career, however she's just made her debut alongside her rising star kids, Leni and Henry.
The trio have hit the cover of Paper Magazine ahead of the premiere of the German native's new docuseries On and Off the Catwalk. This series will follow Heidi at the peak of her career, while also spotlighting Henri and Leni's modelling work. On and Off the Catwalk is set for release on February 22 and March 1 on ProSieben and Joyn.
The cover captures Heidi posing outside a white house, perched atop a bear statue, with her daughter Leni seated just behind her and her son Henry Samuel standing nearby, holding a baseball bat. The supermodel wears a bright pink sheer blouse paired with matching tailored pants, while Leni makes a statement in a striped shirt and polka-dot tights. Henry is dressed entirely in white – a long-sleeve shirt and coordinating shorts – finished with bold yellow socks for a playful pop of color.
Heidi and her kids also engaged in an interview with the outlet to tease the new show and open up about their respective career. "Documenting what is happening in our real life. Nothing is really staged," shared Heidi. "It’s very raw," added Henry. "It's very like, what really happened."
The siblings also shared what exactly inspired them to pursue a career as a model. "I always love being in front of the camera," said Leni. "And I think watching my mom, as I grew up, watching her work, how happy she was, and how fun her job was… I was always really inspired by that. And when I'd go to set with her, I'd always try to get in the frame. I'd always steal her makeup artist. I'd tell him to do my hair, and I'd get in front of the camera, and I'd kind of crash the day. I just fell in love with it, and I'm still in love with it now."
"Yeah, same with me," added Henry. "We would always visit her on her set days. And we all were just super interested. She just looked like she was having fun in her sets. And I just wanted that feeling as well."
However, the pair are carving out their careers in a world vastly different from the one their mom started in. That's largely due to the spotlight of social media and the role it plays in their rising stardom. "I would say it's a blessing and a curse, social media," shared Henry. "There's so many people in the world and through social media, everyone can contact you, each other, through that. There’s a lot of hate out there that no one needs to see."
"I think it's also scary, because once something's online and on social media, it's there forever," said Leni. "My god. Me, personally? I don't post a lot. Honestly, I'm unsure why, but I don't post as much as the people that I follow. And I think maybe a part of that is because I know that once it's out there, it's there forever."
