Bad Bunny's touchdown in Australia has sent fans of the Puerto Rican superstar into a frenzy, with supporters gearing up to watch him perform over two nights in Sydney for the first time.

The singer, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has been soaking in the sights of the sunny city, and even stopped by a Sydney café to enjoy the famous Australian coffee. He was dressed like a local in a blue T-shirt, a yellow hoodie, green shorts, a trucker cap and red flip flops.

Joshua Khoury, owner of The Rusty Rabbit in Darlinghurst, spoke exclusively to HELLO! about Bad Bunny's visit to the café and revealed the generous act that he performed upon his exit.

"He came with a group of five, and they just sat in the back of the café. They were really nice and flew under the radar without any extreme measures of extra security," he recalled. "Our staff didn't even realize who it was until after they ordered."

Bad Bunny and his team dined on steak and eggs, pancakes, southern fried chicken burgers and breakfast wraps during their visit, and enjoyed several orders of coffee and juice.

"When they paid, they thanked our team for their service and respectful discretion after they sat for over an hour without any commotion," Joshua shared, before adding that Bad Bunny left a US$100 tip, which is equivalent to $140 Australian dollars. In an incredible act of generosity, the A-lister also gave the entire café team concert tickets for his weekend show.

Since Bad Bunny's visit, The Rusty Rabbit has enjoyed a large influx of patrons, with a 94% increase in revenue on Thursday and an even bigger jump on Friday. "It's pretty special," Josh said of the celebrity encounter. "But it makes perfect sense, given the name."

Bad Bunny also soaked up the sun at Tamarama Beach, which is just a short 15-minute walk from the world-famous Bondi Beach. He was joined by his on-and-off-again girlfriend, Gabriela Berlingeri, who enjoyed a dip in the ocean while sporting a brown string bikini.

The couple dated between 2017 and 2022, after meeting at a restaurant in their home country of Puerto Rico. Gabriela appeared in the music video for his worldwide hit, "Tití Me Preguntó", and even lent her vocals to the 2020 track "En Casita".

The jewelry designer supported Bad Bunny at his historic Super Bowl Halftime Show performance on February 8, which marked the first Halftime Show to be performed entirely in Spanish. The 31-year-old drew heavy criticism from conservative voices for being chosen as the performer, and shared how he wanted to be remembered after exiting the stage.

"That I'm an honest artist, that I'm myself; that I don't act to be anything that I'm not; that I'm proud about who I am, and what I come from, and that the music doesn't have a language," he told Access Hollywood

"Music is universal. You can connect heart to heart just with a song without any lyrics. That's the only thing I want people to know, and feel after my show."
