Sofia Vergara turned Paris into her own personal runway on March 3, as she stepped out in a daring ensemble. The 53-year-old was in the French capital to attend the Costes party during Paris Fashion Week.
The actress donned a purple lace corset that featured a plunging neckline with sheer, exposed boning on the bodice. The sultry number was styled with a leather maxi skirt in a darker purple hue. The look was completed with open toe pumps and a dainty heart-shaped necklace.
Sofia's luscious brunette locks were left down in a sleek, straight style while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a brown smoky eye, a pinch of blush, and a nude-stained lip.
The star's lace corset follows the broader outerwear-as-underwear trend that has been peppering the runway in recent seasons. The popular look continues to blur the line between lingerie and evening wear. Simone Rocha styled fuzzy fur bras with leather jackets and billowing skirts, Chanel exposed bras with tailored skirt suits. Over at Givenchy, Sarah Burton paired barely-there bras with sheer, mesh dresses.
Earlier that day, Sofia stepped out in a more casual ensemble that consisted of a brown sweatshirt adorned with white jersey lettering and a pair of light wash jeans. The actress accessorized with white sneakers, a cross body bag and a pair of skinny sunglasses.
Sofia Vergara's beauty routine
The actress has previously opened up about how her beauty routine has developed since she has gotten older. "Everything changes as you get older! Not only do I apply sunscreen a lot more now that I'm older, but the places where I use it have also changed!" she told Byrdie. "I used to only do face, but I wear it all over now! Including my hands, neck, and decolletage! I wish I had started doing that when I was younger. Now I always have sunscreen in my car. You don’t realize how much exposure you get sitting in traffic!"
Sofia continued: "I've always just loved skincare, lotions, makeup, all of that. So, I was always trying to stay on top of trends and find the best new products, even when I was a little kid. I have always, always read beauty tips in magazines. It was in one of those beauty tips that I first read about how [the] sun can damage your skin, and ever since then, I have applied sunscreen to my face religiously."
